I just threw a tantrum via email at Info over this IFS stuff. Let her convince me to do it instead of tricking me into doing it. Without using the terms “science-based” and “evidence-based.”

And I do not object to my manager self the way she does (it’s called being an adult, dammit). The three people I can think of in the world who I think hate me are all deeply screwed up themselves.

(This isn’t aimed at anyone here—I know many of you believe in and have been helped by that approach. I just do not want to try it under these circumstances.)

ETA: it wasn’t a drunk email but I think I might drink now. Anyone else?

There was a very lot of family time this weekend. Everything was fine, but now I'm drained. I could use a drink.

Hello Couchies. I haven't been around much the past two days. It's always harder for me to get online except on my phone on the weekends. I was super depressed this weekend. The world series didn't help. I don't even like baseball. I only watched because a CA team was in it. Then they had to go and lose for the second time in two years. Lame. I'm really feeling fragile about my grandpa and other stuff I guess. I'm trying to be good and not but its getting pretty hard. I don't know how much longer I can keep fighting with myself. I'm worn out. Kit.

(((Slumber))) i saw a pbs doc about that ballpark. I had no idea what went into it, re people displacement and architectural design.

My uncle, my cousin, and a bunch of my second cousins actually took a tour of that ballpark. They are really big Dodger's fans of course. I saw some snippits on our local news channel about different parts of the ballpark and really cool items about the food they made just for the series. mmm.

Apparently in my part of the world you are not allowed to be critical of the new Doctor Who, all my tweets have disappeared. I dont care that the doctor is female. I miss the sense of urgency and the alien threats. The writing is really weak like the 2nd series of Broadchurch i hope it finds its feet soon.

Stupid disturbing not-quite-memories of holidays at grandma's keep coming up. I dont know whether to cry or throw up.

I'm grumpy at work today. I was just grumpy with my supervisor because I had to walk her through the accounting steps to reverse a customer deposit. I want to go home and get under the covers. I'm massively depressed which is the problem but it's coming out as grumpy. I really want to lay on the floor in my office but I don't want to get into trouble. Kit

This was like more historical than that. IIRC, it was indigenous peoples sites. My second H was always ranting about how Silicon Valley was all fruit orchards and dirt roads when he was growing up, and i was all cynical, "well its hiways and buildings now bub."

I think it might be my beautiful boy, all my boys are beautiful, but one is majestic, one is handsome and one is beautiful. He is also the most curious and destructive. He has been to the litter tray 3 times now passing very little urine. I will make an appointment with the vet when they open.
