Haha we always called my dogs "the puppies" even when they were well into double digits.

I thought maybe I'd make a donation to Hope for Paws in her name for Christmas. Whenever I watch their youtube videos, I cry for hours. And I pretty much never cry. Just seeing the poor dogs, then they get rescued, best part is seeing how much better they look after being fostered. And probably to The Elephant Sanctuary. They're my favorite.

That is great. I always feel so puffed up when I fix stuff like this. And dry clothes are always a good idea.

Wish I could talk to T today.... as just someone who cared and supported me... feeling so down and frustrated with something in my life. (Not related to him)

For some reason, evenings seem to bum me out even more

I don't think it really gave me "the fix" that T was talking about. I think it would be easier to figure out how to react to if it was one of those extremes.
That goes back to who is in control of the relationship, thats where you get your fix.

When he said to you on the phone that day, "ive got two minutes", and you said no - you pretty much declared war. Thats what i think you dont get. You effectively said that YOU were calling the shots, not him. So of course therapy ended at that point. How do you not see that? How do you see that as him hurting you?

Its HIS practice, HIS license - YOU dont call the shots. If he says we have two minutes, you have two minutes. Otherwise you are breaking the contract. Thats why if you want back in, YOU apologize, not him.

I’m here, but I’m up early so I’ll need to bring my coffee. I’ll try not to spill it.

I need to start studying for surgery, but haven't yet... I would agree, but I think the attitude of the teacher you have also greatly affects your experience. At the moment I'm really enjoying surgery because I love my vascular surgeon. Today for example I was in the a PCI unit with a cardiologist. I still can't read ECGs properly. There was just me and another girl who turned up as our group of 12 is split into 6 for internal. He sat down with us and went through it and didn't make us feel stupid for not knowing stuff. With them I feel like I can actually ask for clarification if I don't understand things instead of just nodding along.

I zonked out last night early from taking Unisome. Normally that OTC crap does not work but it worked last night. Although I was up by 5:15. ridiculous. So where were we with ex mc? Oh right LT-so I’m of the opinion that his email is just covering his butt and he’s using DBT skills( or lack there of-considering I am not sure he ever used it in your sessions based on what you would write in IST) in his favor to not take responsibility for anything that could have gone wrong in that relationship. It’s very unlikely if you are looking for a real apology from him you won’t ever get it. I’m sorry. His email did sound final-like others mentioned here. I think where he said he appreciates you sticking it out with Dr T -that was just him fiishing for something else to add to the email. Almost like he was compelled to find something to make the email more than just one line....
I’m not sure what else. I might have more thoughts but have to get ready for work. Hugs.

Awww that's so sweet of him. I can understand why you feel that why, but it's not the truth NP. One day I hope you can see and feel it for yourself.
