Wow, those are really pricey but I'm glad you get most of it back. My T only ever charged me 60$... and it was more than half price of his normal rate.... so I got really lucky he never changed it on me. Unsure what the Tues guy charges but I hope it's mostly covered by my insurance LOL

His website says $150 for a 50 minute session so he may have raised them since I started seeing him. Also, I see him for 45 minutes so maybe he changed that too. He's a PsyD if that makes any difference.

Ex-T apparently raised her rates to $150 while I was there, but she kept me at my original $130, which I really appreciated. I think PsyD is like PhD but slightly different coursework maybe? I think it's still a doctorate.

Yes, PsyD is a doctoral level degree. I think it has more of a focus on clinical aspects rather than research.

I'm glad it didn't feel like a funeral with L today but we ended therapy mutually and on very good terms so I didn't really expect it to.

She does look amazing for 80 or so, huh?

And unlike Info she does not have orange skin and hair.

I'm really overwhelmed with T related feelings. I hate that my sessions are not until Monday but i'm good at hiding things and keeping them in so I'll manage somehow. Just sick of winter and how it's ruined my session for this week

Journaling usually helps me in those kinds of situations.

I feel like garbage tonight physically. I felt okay most of the day until after I picked up my kids from school. Now feel nauseous and have chills. I hate getting sick because if I get any fever it means an ER visit. I'm hoping I feel better in the morning so I don't have to miss my Session with T.

@Lemoncake, I scheduled my 2nd session with the sexual assault center: needed an evening appointment so it'll be on 5th March.

I was thinking of PM'ing you! I'm glad you got back to them and are doing what's best for you. How are you?

I hope you feel better. If you're still not better in the morning perhaps you could do a phone/ or a skype session?

Maybe if you decide to stick with one of them you can have a session on another day if you ask in advance?

Well done for making the best choice for yourself LT.I hope your session with her goes well.

*hugs* I'm pretty OK, all things considered I see T tomorrow too. I had a weird dream of T...where I dreamed she discharged me and I couldn't see her again.

My nightmares involving therapy have a really weird setting. They're always set in this awfully familiar yet strange university counselling school lol. It's a weird location which is one third abandoned factory, one third medical hospital, one third university counselling school. There's no sense to it but the moment I'm there, I know it's going to be a nightmare about my current therapist or former ones, doctors who prescribe me my psych meds and some lecturers.

Great news! I called and got an appointment tomorrow at 7pm with the new guy I've yet to meet, and she kept the monday at 2 in case I still want a second appointment with him before surgery.

So at least I can have some idea of what direction I wanna go before Monday comes along.
Although the winter weather advisory goes until 6pm tomorrow so it's possible I may not make it in anyway but the woman said no charges for bad weather cancels. Phew. So I get to meet the last new one (at least until post surgery) tomorrow.
