In other news, I got the Girl Scout cookies I ordered from someone's grandkid at work today, these Smore's cookies are pretty good.

I'm waiting for my T to cancel my session tomorrow due to the extreme cold. But she's a bit of a workaholic (even at her old counseling job where she was salaried), so this would be the first time she would cancel because of weather. My bet is that she'll offer a phone session instead...

Are they new? I'm a Girl Scout cookie traditionalist, partial to Samoas and Thin Mints, but I LOVE the Savanah Smiles. Excellent with tea.

@ElectricManatee My former T cancelled once or twice because of the snow. It's rare for it to snow in So Cal but she lived and worked in different cities and had to drive through a mountain pass so I understood. Still a phone session isn't really the same. Do you think so?

Yeah, I think they are new this year. I also got Thin Mints. I spent like $22 on cookies. Sheesh. But you know, support the kiddos.

I think it's only if you use the @ before their name. Quoting alone doesn't trigger it, I don't think?

@LonesomeTonight there's a new tab called quotes under the user's profile. I think that's where the quoting comes in.

@SlumberKitty (Did that work?)

No, a phone session isn't the same at all, but it's better than nothing, I guess. She lives quite close to her office, so maybe she'll go in. I think the roads are supposed to be okay, just dangerous to be outside with the wind chill. I guess it also depends on whether both of our cars will start in the subzero temps...

Thanks ElectricManatee! I don't see anything under my profile but there's a 1 now by my name!

Yeah, a phone session is better than nothing. Wow, I never thought about cars not starting because it's too cold. (I live in So-Cal and have no concept of below zero).

I've been waiting for a feature like this - I'd like to be able to respond to people without necessarily having to quote entire posts.

I don't think it's possible to turn off the notifications yet. I don't mind the forum based notification (as I said before, useful...) but I would rather not get an email if possible.

I will. I also asked about turning it off on the thread where they announced this abomination.

I wrote about my session in IST and my thread about emailing T's.

I'm very paranoid after this session and really don't think I can continue. I feel such betrayal right now
