I just allowed my dog to gorge himself on cold steamed broccoli. He seems very content now and has brought his softest bunny toy into our bed ready for sleep. He requested that I lift him up since bunny is half his size and I guess it's difficult to spring onto the bed under such circumstances. I didn't really think about that when I picked it out. But choosing toys scaled to my dog's size, even if they were available, would be a problem because they would probably be a choking hazard for all of the bigger dogs that I sit. Ah, well.

I have an older niece (through marriage) who is pregnant with her first. So I made her a blanket. The baby is a girl, and my niece loves camo. I think the color of the yarn is called English garden, but it looks a little like camo. The border is more pink than in the picture and the blanket is more pastel. Super excited to see what she thinks!

I'm currently watching voyager as well! They seem to do stuff like this way more than in other Star Treks... not sure why, but they explain eeeverything. It's not 'there's a space anomaly, let's investigate' anymore, it's 'there's a space anomaly - what do you mean? - there's magnetic interference ... - that doesn't sound good - no it does not - let's go and investigate'.

Morning, Couch.

Today is significant, so I am letting it unfold. After twelve years, you would think something would happen to the Chris shaped hole in my life. It's the same, and maybe even a little bigger.
