Completely agree.

Thanks for the pocket riders. Went well with T. He was very understanding and apologetic about his misreading of my email. He didn't charge me for any outside contact (which he normally does on vacation if longer than sentence or two) because he said it was mostly due to his misunderstanding, so if he charged me, he'd have to charge himself, too. I mentioned how the stone hadn't helped me, and I was wondering if I should just return it, partly because I kept thinking he'd be uncomfortable if he knew I held it. He asked if I wanted to exchange it for a different stone (he has a bunch in his office). I was like, "But won't it make you uncomfortable?" T: "I'm offering it to you." I said I'd think about it for next session. He can be really confusing at times...

I asked T today if she was bothered byt me going to an EMDR T, I know some therapists are worried about ppl seeing 2, it's not in me not to tell either of them about each other .

She said that she has no concerns as she knows I am looking for some kind of relief in my emetophobia and that I have a specific goal, she reassured me she would still be there even if we had to break for a bit. She is on my team and wants what is best. UGH go ahead and be lovely why don't you. Not helping the attachment.

I can't remember if we've talked about this before, but I also struggle with emetophobia. Feel free to PM me if you want.

Also, my T didn't want to shake my hand today because he was getting over a cold. So he said, "air handshake!" and shook his hand in the air, and I did the same, and it was kind of endearing.

Aarrgghh the govt want to put an extra layer of security on my account there is already 4 passwords/questions/codes on it already. That 4 screens I have to go through just see why the tax office sent me an email. It was just to tell me I didn't need to lodge a return which I knew anyway.

The puppy is very smart even compared to the others. We hadn't thought of doing agility classes. I think we'll start her out with basic training. I also bought something to block her from getting under the bed. I hope they work. Otherwise we'll just buy storage boxes.

This is the first Sheltie I've had problems with. I've owned 7 total (not all at once!). This also happens to be the smartest and most hyper.

It’s about 3 years since I saw my ex-T, and somehow I have been thinking about him today. I left too early, we never finished.

I am seeing a new, it’s not the same. It’s not that it is bad, just different. Some might even say the new one is better, cause the old one was more distant (like one hand-shake during two years) but I kinda liked his cold, but gentle, way of doing things.

I don’t know- just felt emotional about it. Even considered contacting him and asking if he had some available sessions. I’m not gonna do it, though.

Seeing my new T tomorrow again. We’ll see. It’s good, but also- I like being alone in my mind.

Hope everyone is having an okay Monday- or even better: a really good Monday

Thanks BCM. Trying to. H was talking last night like he wants to kick son and gf out already even though he originally said they would have to pay rent if longer than a month (they've been here 2 weeks). They both work full time so are still trying to find a new apartment. H and son came to a civil agreement last night after I'd gone to bed I think anyway. I'm just blaming myself upside down and sideways for everything as usual and tired of arguing with h. Part of me wishing I'd just left him in February then I'd be 5 months into starting a new life. Yet at the same time mad at myself for wishing that because I do love him I'm just so utterly confused by myself and i don't know what I want and I don't know how I'm supposed to know and please just ignore my ramblings.

Dogs need physical and mental stimulation. The hyper ones (and often smart ones) needs it even more. Try training the puppy- tricks or just rules, like leaving things alone, place, wait and stuff like that. With positive reinforcement it is remarkable how many things they can learn

I go hiking with mine, then let him play with some other dogs, rest and then do a training session for about 20-30 mins. A tired pup is a wellbehaved pup. And mental training goes a long way, it can really do a difference. He loves it, and also gets tired afterwards. Win-win

I have had 6 different dogs of my preferred herding breed. I have had one of those 6 who was exceptionally smart - she was a giant pain until I understood more of what she needed in terms of mental stimulation. Agility and herding worked best (both because she enjoyed them and I did as well - obedience bores me to tears- the problem with obedience was that she simply would not do rote repetition (her breed is known for "not being golden retrievers" but also very sensitive to correction- I took her(and all subsequent of my dogs) to a breed specific obedience classes because all the dogs were like her and the instructor knew how to handle them and us. It was fun to watch a room full of my breed - particularly when an aussie or border collie would join in = those dogs would work themselves to death while my breed's dogs would just quit when they got bored or stressed). Obedience for herding dogs can be (in my opinion) a bit dicey if it is not very very positive and mixed up in terms of exercises. Agility was a life saver for me with that one dog and the others have really enjoyed it as well. Also feeding her or putting treats in a treat ball that she had to work at to get the food out helped as well because it kept her occupied in a constructive fashion.
I would recommend agility over obedience - agility has an obedience component but is so much more fun and I think builds a better bond between human and dog

I need to go clothes shopping as a lot of my clothes are starting rip but I have to be really motivated or else it's like dragging a 4 year old around and then I hate it and then I don't go for months. I am really tired of looking like a tramp though.

I’m not sure I can do without either. I’ll give it some more time.

And I can totally relate to the «wish you were here» with ex-t. Heading over to my spotify to check the song out. The title is atleast speaking to me.

It’s 1 am here, not too bad, but not really good for me either

I'm ignoring the ramblings but you know they put me in mind of this song, which I often use to push myself:
