Evening, Couch.

I've just drafted an update email to R, talking about a few things that I don't want to have to squeeze into Thursday's session. I'm not sure whether to send it right now, or schedule it to be sent on Tuesday morning, when she's next working. Any thoughts?

Hi @LostOnTheTrail, if you are comfortable with what you wrote, I don't see the harm in sending it now. If you want to mull over it a little bit and make sure it is what you want it to say then I'd say, wait a while and then send it. Does your T check emails on the weekend? My former T who allowed emails did. Neither of my current T's allow emails so....yeah. HUGS, Kit

Well I went and they said my urine looks fine but they took bloodwork to check kidney function. She said it might have to do with my sleep apnea, only it seems like this issue wouldn't have suddenly started if that was it and this is a problem during the day and not just at night. In fact, it seems to get worse as the day goes on. So if it was this substance that is released if you have sleep apnea, she said it probably wouldn't explain the daytime stuff unless I produced so much that it lingered in the day - in which case, the problem should get better not worse as the day progresses.

Relieved there was no glucose, though.

T was good today. Talked mostly about my schooling and he's going to recommend a few books about psychology that he enjoyed reading. First time I've ever had a T recommend books to me.

Thanks @SlumberKitty
It's been busy but I've managed to get through everything so far. Still have to meet with my son's teacher in a bit but that's the last of it.

Littlest has an ear infection like we predicted. Explains why she failed the hearing screen.
The lab messed up my bloodwork needed for my thyroid doctor so she had to have them add it on. So we don't know what my levels are at and if I need a dosage change. Frustrating. At least she said everything they did run was good.
I'm exhausted. I got less than 5 hour of sleep and been up since 630 today.

Once again after travel I have reached the conclusion that wheelie bags are a menace to polite society and when I rule the world they will be banned.

I wonder whatever happened with France's declaration that only real rubber wheels would be allowed in French transportation facilities, as the plastic wheels were ruining the (non-synthetic material - i dont know how you say that in English; i dont think we HAVE a word for it? ) floors?

You must be reasonably tall then i am quite short and cant comfortably carry even a small suitcase. Wheelie bags are easier for me. Even the smallest bags tend to drag on the ground so i might as well put wheels on. I c

It isn’t the bag itself I object to, it’s the way people seem to steer it to cause the greatest possible inconvenience to others.

I was struggling a lot earlier this morning and earlier this afternoon. I'm feeling a tad bit better now. I did get a nice email from my boss so that was good. And I only have one more hour of work before it is the weekend.

I agree. People whom carry them should be subject to a steering test and get some sort of fine if they can’t steer them properly.

I left work 3 hours early today. The grandmother was visiting the kids. Called my boss, told her too many cooks in the kitchen and if it was okay with her I heading out. She told me it was fine.

See ya.

So its the people you object to. The thoughtless person who didnt "test drive" the bag or has the handle over extended and drags the bag like they have right of way

It’s always the people I object to.

Yeah, or doesn’t drag the bag behind them but next to them so you can’t pass them or walks really slooooowly. The bag’s supposed to make you go *faster* because you’re not shouldering the weight.

I would like to thank the Couch for putting up with my idiosyncratic rants.

I love the idea of beating the heck out of something releasing pent up frustration and anger. That you come away feeling better must be a correlation. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Its west african drumming and mainly celebrates the joy of life. I think that is what have been needing lately, to be reminded that there is joy in life. My hands were only a bit sore

How long does it take to grade discussions? We're on week 2 now and my professor hasn't graded week 1 yet. I'd like to know sooner than later if I'm not doing well.

I feel that way about baby strollers. Particularly the kind that carry two children across. I hate the parents that use those with a passion

Depends on the professor. Grading discussions is either a major PITA trying to grade on quality or you just be lazy and give everyone full or no points.

I remember that from when I lived in the suburbs. They’d literally use the stroller to force other pedestrians onto the grassy verge.
