I've just been looking at other therapists on Psychology Today. Found a couple who seem ok. But I'm too scared to act.

Do any of them offer free phone consultations? I suggest starting there if so.
Thanks for this!

They didn't mention it on their profiles. One says to call to set up an appointment for an initial assessment and evaluation. The others don't say anything.

Ah, OK. A couple T's I contacted when I briefly terminated with Dr. T mentioned free phone consultations in their Psychology Today profile. One went fairly well (the one I saw for 2 sessions), the other was...terribly awkward, only lasted a few minutes, and I did make an appointment with her anyway, but ended up canceling. With Dr. T, he didn't mention free consultation, but when he called me to schedule the first session, we talked on the phone for about 15 minutes, and I felt I got some sense of him. I think it was the same with ex-T (talked on the phone a bit before deciding to schedule), though that was, I guess...like 8 years ago, so my memory isn't as good!

Just checking in.
Possible trigger:

This unit allows computer access which is really nice because I have been able to stay current with my online class.

Ugh, catheters are horrible. I had one a long time ago and, not understanding how they worked, tried to pull it out.

I was not successful.

My therapist's profile didn't say anything either. When I initially emailed him, he offered to meet "to see if we'd be a good match". That initial appointment was about half an hour and was free. When I inquired about group therapy, same kind of deal, although she offered phone vs in person. I don't think it would be weird to just ask them up front if they'll do a phone call or in person meeting to determine if you'd be a good fit.

Thank you for letting us know, I have wondered how you were doing since you last posted. I hope you're getting what you need there even if catheter etc. doesn't sound fun. Best to you.

My cleaning day is a bust. I'm so angry at my sister right now, my adrenaline is up and my heart is racing and I'm breathing heavily. I had to remove myself from the living area before I did something violent and got myself arrested. This absolutely sucks.

Thats beautiful. I really want an elegant tree like that every year but we get the boxes and just throw everything at the tree and it looks like a hot mess. Not that i dislike my tree its more that it represents what i want to be as opposed to what i actually am.

I suspect its more because the ringleader was the cat that disappeared last year on Christmas eve in the storms. But i shall keep my beady litlle eye out.

Can you email or call T and tell him how you're feeling? He should know that if you talked about some serious stuff like this that you might have a strong reaction to it. I've been in that situation when it felt okay during session but afterwards I lost my **** and would end up emailing him that I wasn't doing okay at all. And if you need to go to the hospital, please go.

Probably not a good idea to go to the hospital you work at. When i knocked out my ex with a frypan he was automatically taken to the hospital i worked at and i felt i had to make up a story instead of saying i hit him out of fear maybe i wouldnt have spent 20 years in the relationship.

Just texted the therapist asking him to call me.

I hate this. I feel like I’m crawling out of my skin.

I'm struggling with all the things Ive messed up and missed this week. I missed my oldest`s 12th birthday, and my 4 year old's first dance recital. Next week is the last week that I'm supposed to see T until the 2nd, and I know I'll at least miss Monday`s session. There`s no one here to help during the weekend, so this really bites.
