Thanks for the picture, Kit. She's a pretty girl.

Thanks Lost, she's recently been sitting with me more and not being so skittish. I love that Amelia is getting to be more cuddly.

Response to the question why are you still a therapist?
"just being honest - the pay and flexible hours. It's the only sort of work I've found that is flexible enough for me to do while my kids are little, and pays well enough that I come out ahead after childcare and taxes. Once my kids are on school full time, I don't expect to work as a therapist anymore."
An honest answer mixed in to the "it is my calling" crap

I'm ready for it to be bedtime. My kids have been spawns today. I broke a huge jar of pizza sauce that splattered all over my kitchen, ceiling and walls. I haven't showered since we were replacing our bathroom sink and had the water turned off most of the day. I'm in a horrible mood and wish I could talk to one of my Ts. I've really been missing ex T lately and wish I could reach out to him but that's probably not a good idea.

I found some bottles of kombucha that I made a couple of years ago in my basement refrigerator. It is very very fizzy now but seems still drinkable.

Hugs, maybe there was something about today...my D has been sobbing much of the day (it was more anger before about not being able to go out). Hope you can get some rest tonight and that tomorrow is more peaceful...

Ugh, yeah, same here. My kid is on a nap strike and is sooo tired and cranky by the end of the day. That's the downside of her developmental leap forward, I guess. Plus my back pain is flaring up due to extra stress and no PT, so chasing her around all day is really taking a lot out of me. I miss having a few days of daycare every week.

Oh, nap strike sucks. Mine grew out of her nap much earlier than most kids do. Hope we all have better days tomorrow!

Is it kombucha wine now? Or maybe you can sell the yeast.

He barked after each Greek student finished translating. Like he was saying "Good job!"

I picked up a huge produce order from the local produce supply which has started community dock sales since the restaurants closed. You call in your order, pay over the phone, they put it in the back of your car and you drive away. Voila! Enough fruit and veg for the week for a household with three munching teens AND everyone else we know. FYI, three pounds of salad mix is a LOT of salad.

I divvied stuff up into bags and spent the afternoon delivering fresh stuff to friends' porches.

It is a tad more vinegary but it isn't bad. It is like drinking a shrub

3 - all the others look like my dogs would not make it. A couple looked scary even for my cats. I am not keen on perching on the sides or tops of mountains.
Unless I have a squirrel suit.

Of course you have a squirrel suit. And ex-hankster has a moose suit.

ETA: and you and ex-hankster just chose the same house...it’s a pandemic miracle!
