My T randomly texted me yesterday letting me know she is thinking of me. It was sweet and I was touched. I was also confused because it felt weird that she should be the one to initiate contact. Our session went well on Saturday. I'm not in crisis. So I am a bit puzzled as to why she sent it to me. But it was sweet and I was touched that she sent it. These are confusing feelings. Confusing indeed. Kit

Never had such a huge break before- 53 days! I've always been stuck with retakes.

Not sure what to do with my time other than still keep studying low key.I know I have huge gaps with pharma.

I'm also not travelling back to London.

I think it definitely is possible.

I had a particularly intense session today and now I'm just sad and don't feel like doing any work. I wish he would send me a post-session note of acknowledgement or something. No headache, though I have had a crying-induced headache before.

Didn't she have to cancel f2f and do phone instead, Kit? Maybe she feels guilty.

I’m trying to sort out why I hate talking to my T about the guys I date. I really don’t understand it—I tell my friends every little detail with no problem, but my T asks me if I’ve kissed some guy yet and I just cringe.

Maybe it’s because he fulfills something of a parental figure in my life and I made it a point never to talk about dating with my parents?

I dunno, asking you if you've kissed a guy yet seems cringey to me. I don't think that's a weird reaction to have when a non-friend asks you something like that.

Thats like 2 whole months!!! Except you cant go anywhere cuz then you would have to quarantine for 2 weeks, before AND after. So that kinda cuts into it. No impulse trips. How about Finland? You could help sweep the forests? J/K!

Oh that's true @susannahsays I hadn't thought of that. I was initially disappointed that we weren't going to see each other face to face, but the session turned out alright on the phone. I hadn't thought of it that way. Thanks for pointing it out! Kit

that's the way i feel after yesterday's really difficult session. i cannot focus today for the life of me. i have processed only 24 messages (i'm on break right now) and by this time on a normal day, I'd be at 48. I do +/- 53 most days by an hour from now. I would have liked the same kind of thing from L today, but of course she won't. she really seemed to be fed up with me yesterday.
