So, OK, Dr. T can be an a-hole at times. But he can also be pretty endearing. Like today, I was mentioning how one of the pundits they kept going to on a cable news channel had a "banner thing for the [university I went to] behind him, you know, the triangle thing." Dr. T: "Pennant?" Me: "Yes, that's it, a pennant, I couldn't think of the word." Dr. T: "OK, so that's my one word victory over the English major--that will count for 2021." Later, I couldn't pull another word (something sort of political, so won't share), he said it, then said, "Now I'm set through 2022!"

But first my dream. The house i was renting had boards coming loose from it ceiling in the loungeroom i got a ladder and hammered them back in but they kept coming loose. Also there was a vidro projector like you see in home thestres hanging from the ceiling. Later in the dream it would detach itself and follow us around. Anyway i went to the real estate agent to complain and she turned out to be a fan of my exceptionally brief real estate career and something wierd happened i cant remember and the Muppet Show theme started playing and i woke up. So its the Muppet Show for the rest of the day i guess

I am jusr reading about the wild wallaby problem in England. I read something a few years ago about some guy who had pet wallabies in his English garden but he didnt realise how high they could jump. People. Eh?
Apperently quite a few wre released by private zoos at the beginning of the war.

I'm trying to quit Starbucks, soda, and smoking this week. First two going well. Have to work harder on quitting cigarettes.

I feel like emotional eating, but the only thing I have for it is a bag of those Eat Bugs chips I found on clearance last week. (I told you they weren’t doing well.)

Somehow “Cheddar Cricket Crisps” does not appeal for stress eating.

I gave in and stress-ordered takeout.

(Though I imagine that is a more treacherous option if one is GF.)

Maybe just try one at a time? That's a lot at once! If it's about caffeine for the Starbucks and soda, maybe try making at home? And drinking tea helped me get away from soda (lightly sweetened).

I would probably be more concerned about the beast of Bodmin Moor than rogue wallabies. Unless its a Rugby match

Nah. It's not about caffeine. It's about reducing sugar, and saving money on coffee. I'm drinking crystal light now and making coffee from home.

I was able to quit smoking years ago by using the patch for the nicotine cravings and sucking on Twizzlers for the habitual/mental part of it. There's a hole in the middle so you can actually "draw" on them like you would a cigarette.
