T texted and said she mixed up the dates. She said she's been at home quarantined because she was possibly exposed to Covid. But that she feels okay. She said she was so sorry for the mixup. She said she will call me later. At least I know she is okay.

I don't understand why, but the fact that I'll almost certainly be ending with my T in July (because I'm moving across the country) makes me furious with him.

I think it has something to do with the fact that once I'm not in treatment with him anymore, it'll be like we never were anything to each other.

I hate him so much.

Glad she's OK, but still frustrating/disappointing, especially with her not replying to the texts while you were there waiting. I hope you'll be able to figure out a time to see her before Christmas.

I think The Little Prince addresses this phenomenon. I never understood it when i read it, but being away from my t now for a couple of years, i think i get it. Something about the care you gave to your rose? My parents were more about raising me to be tough, than about showing care. So that was a difficult concept for me to grasp.

What I bolded: I don't know if this gives you any comfort but I like this quote by Jung "The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed." to me it says that it can't be like we were never anything to each other; but instead we both were changed because of what we were to each other. not sure i'm making sense.

Thank you, Una and Artie

Socially distanced date with the geneticist was really lovely—hot chocolate and a walk in a park with Christmas lights. If I don’t work over the next week we’re going to do baking and a movie at his place next weekend; otherwise we’ll have to find some other COVID compliant activity.

Boys use it constantly for ramen, oatmeal and other add-hot-water snacks. And other random things that we sometimes need hot water for--warm the honey when baking (cold cupboards) or soak dried fruit, canning lids, dissolve sugar for hummingbird feeder syrup... I just used it a little bit ago to get the wax candle ends out of the candle holder.

Sometimes it's translated as "the time you wasted" but the idea is that the time we spend is meaningful to the people we spend it on, and that makes it meaningful to us.

chihiro, he won't forget you.

I drink tons of hot tea in the winter time. I also use it to heat up my cup before my morning coffee, make gravy for dog dinner, and
any number of times I just need a little hot water throughout the day.

Covid is such a head f***. My kid wasn't feeling great today. No fever or symptoms except tiredness and yet I'm still freaking out about covid. I'm immunocompromised so I have to stay away as well.

I also just got word that my friend passed away today

I sent my T two insane emails last night. I wasn't even drunk, just... insane. I am not taking this semi-imminent dissolution of therapy very well.

4:36pm
I’m furious with you and you don’t deserve it and I hate you and I hate myself and
Possible trigger:
F--- this. F--- everything. I never want to see you again.

8:19pm
T, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean those things.

What’s wrong with me??

C

I'm sorry for your loss.

And I hope your kid's OK. I do hate how any symptom me, H, or D has, I now worry it's COVID. I miss when it was just "is it a cold or allergies?"

Chihiro, if you truly don’t want to leave the therapist, are you really obligated to take this fellowship, or any fellowship at all?

Crotchety Old Man Cat keeps jumping on the kittens. I (and, I suspect, the kittens also) thought he was in a mood, but when they jump away from him, he starts chasing his tail.

I think he might be trying to play.

Silly question about therapy: with Info’s husband dead and no one for her to look attractive for, is she going to change her style? Like dress in widow’s weeds? Make like Queen Victoria instead of Victoria’s Secret?

Tl; dr: how can I do therapy without cleavage?

Maybe she always dressed for herself, so won't change.

I still wear red lipstick when I'm alone in my room.

Maybe the breasts brought you comfort in a way., reminds me of breastfeeding with little kids. I bought my friend a par of breast shaped stress balls. Maybe you could find an alternative.
