My advice is dont push thru it, eat soup and tea and rest rest rest. I feel like i lost almost a full two months in recuperating from the vaccines. You dont want to complain, but man my 2nd shot hurt so bad. My mind is just coming back to normal. And as my dad said after his stroke, too bad that wasnt better to begin with.

I feel terrible guys. I had my first covid vaccine 6 days ago and had a sligth fever for about a day but now i am soo tired and my hearing has got worse. I rang the vaccine hotline and they said it was a possible side effect but get really tired just wlking to the front gate and back. I will mke n appointment to see my doctor when the lockdown is over.

Nothing can truly prepare you for the day you walk into your therapist’s office and they tell you they are moving out of state and will be ending therapy. It was like a punch in the gut today when he told me. It’s been 9 years… today is hard, but right now I can’t imagine saying bye at out final appointment.

Thanks for the advice Una and Lemoncake i have been resting and trying to drink more water.
I just remembered a possible reason my cat would have been upset and peed on my bed. I replaced their dishes with low walled oval serving trays to reduce whisker fatigue to see if my daughters cat would be less angry using them. My cat didnt know how to eat out of the new dishes and was so funny trying different angles

Well, my visa to join my fiancé got declined. They claimed I did not submit a document, but I'd argue I did? There's no "we confirm this person isn't married" (I called my relevant governm body to check) but you have to apply for a notarised "official search result of no marriage records for this person" for visas. Just because different countries have slightly different but essentially the same thing...

Second claim is that they contacted my fiancé (he has power of attorney) twice on 2 specific dates regarding my "missing" document, but did not receive a response. He checked his email, his government inbox thing. Nothing! So maybe physical mail but then he's supposed to get an SMS notification from the government informing him they sent physical mail - no SMS or calls.

They threw out the entire application based on that 2. We're going to appeal.

OK, that's clear enough. There's going to be a family feud and you don't want that on your birthday.

Buy them in winter when they are cheap. ;-)

Down here heat pumps are very popular. (We have two) You get air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. Mind you, the heating would not be up to Canadian standards.

But I also live in a country where everyone hates winter but everyone also hates summer.
Every year it’s the same complaints. Although right now we are in a heat dome with record breaking temps so complaints are welcome right now.

Lol when I picture heat pumps im assuming you live in a home without a built in furnace and you use space heaters?

Got an update from P yesterday on his plans. In case you don't remember, the date he's planning on leaving keeps changing from the original Jan 2021 to the last update of Jan 2022. Now he's told me that there's a 50% chance of him leaving in Jan 2022 and a 100% chance of May/June 2022.

The other day when he didn't call for our phone session and didn't respond to my email, I was a little anxious so I googled him to make sure he hadn't died or something (please don't laugh, I was feeling anxious). I found a newspaper article that said he'd won a scholarship recently. The article talked about his program and indicated that they were permanently changing the program to be available via distance learning. That wasn't anything he had mentioned before and I was wondering if he would ever say anything to me about it. He still didn't say anything, but I guess if it's 50/50 he's leaving in January, he's considering continuing the distance learning.

I think I had kind of hoped that since things kept getting pushed back that maybe he'd just never actually leave. Hearing him say he's definitely gone by end of next spring felt really hard to hear. I guess I should feel lucky and glad that we're getting so much extra time. Learning about his scholarship and a guaranteed end date just makes it all feel so real. I'll try to stop whining about this. I know some people get zero notice that their therapist is leaving and I've gotten several reprieves already.

I'm actually kind of missing Dr. K, my therapist. What is wrong with me? 20 days until I see him.

Don't know about whether CE is talking about the same thing, but where I live, heat pumps are usually used in combination with a sort of large pin that you put way down into the Earth, and in winter you pump heat from the Earth below into the house, in the Summer you can give heat back to the Earth. It's usually done through floor heating.

Also not sure about the fact it wouldn't hold up with Canadian standards, Switzerland is doing fine with it buddy in Nova Scotia reporting similar weather temperature wise most of the time, so I think it would be fine.

Edit: The pin you put into the Earth is called a downhole heat exchanger.

Some homes have ducted heat pumps, which has ducts in the ceilings to multiple rooms. Ours are just straight through the wall.
