Glad your safer now. You will thank yourself for being brave enough to take those steps.

Wait till tomorrow in person to judge is my advice. I have misread so many emails and texts and forum posts over the years that I no longer trust my judgement of the written word alone. You might be right, but you might also be projecting.

I often read certain things into what Dr. T says via email as well. But then when I ask him about it, he tends to say he wasn't feeling that. Or that it was a case where he was short on time and just trying to send something quickly.

So like @@ said, I'd wait to judge till you speak to him. I'd bring up your impressions and see how he responds.

I'm thinking I just don't want to talk about it at all. I'm probably reading it a bit more harshly than he intended.

I could see Dr. T typing something similar, including quoting my own words. I'd just see how tomorrow goes maybe, like how you feel when you seem him, how he's acting. If you're still feeling bad about it then, maybe bring it up? I do hope it goes well.

I've still been feeling really bad, but started studying again in small bits.

In my last session with R I told him that I was feeling hopeless. That I needed him to give me hope in a sense. He said my situation was hopeless, then gave me a football analogy: in '96 the guy missed the shot but 25 years later he was the english coach. So things worked out in the end.

I've been googling sermons for most of today just trying to find something to hold on to. I haven't felt this bad before and I still can't stop crying. I told my mother and she asked why

What a horrible thing for your mother to say!

I know it feels like you're doomed to failure right now (I'm in a similar situation with work right now), but I believe you can do it. Set small study goals for yourself and keep plugging away at it. I'm going to try and take my own advice today and try to get caught up on some of my work backlog.

What kind of place is Cheddars? I'm picturing something like Chuck e cheese.

Thank you!! It was so nice to spend some time with my son. He's such a busy guy I don't get to see him very often so it was a blessing today!

The full name is cheddar's scratch kitchen, I guess you'd call it american fare or whatever, they have ribs, steaks, chicken, pastas, burgers, salads, etc. It's affordably priced too which is awesome!!

oh Lemon my heart is hurting for you, what a horrible thing for your mother to say. And what R said too. I am so, so sorry you had to hear both of those things! I wish I could give you a big huge hug right now. I am sending you all the healing, positive energies I can. You deserve so much better.

Lemon, I am so sorry your mom said that to you. That is a horrifying thing for one human being to say to another, much less a mother. Reading that made me feel really protective of you and your generous heart. I agree with Artie, you deserve better than that.

Many of the emails I received from Madame T were not really as hostile as I first read them. But I needed something warmer. She rarely got above room temperature.

New cat made it to the grand finale of the show at the country club two blocks away (we have a view of it out the living room window), then went into full slink belly crawl under the sofa.

Lone dog is more troubled by new cat being troubled.

My cats and the other dog are all asleep in lumps throughout the living room. Twinky dog is sitting on my feet and shaking.
New Cat sounds like she was quite brave

Penelope has been such a good girl the past 2 weeks when I let her go outside in the backyard, she's been hanging out with Stormy (our big black cat) on the patio and not getting any trouble. It was all a ruse to get me comfortable, I should have known!! She's back in the house now, but I had left her outside unattended and went to the bathroom. When I came back, she was nowhere to be seen. I went out the front door to look for her and she was sitting on the porch looking at the front door!! I yelled at her to get in the house, but she darted across in front of me and ran around the side of the house, I told h to go open the back gate then went to the side of the house and she was not there. H said she just came waltzing in the back door. So she went under the gate and back in. Now we know she can squeeze under the gate, and will be fixing that soon!

Was very surprised years later when 1 tertiary school classmate contacted me about her wedding. I always didn't attend reunions, had assumed they had all deleted my number.
