Thanks! I do have inserts but I think I need some new ones as these are starting to look worn down. May look into getting some new ones soon. I'm just not used to walking so much. (I have a sit down job!) It's good for me to walk though. I worked my muscles. Two on my legs are sore from all that walking. But my foot felt better by the next day.

Maybe you could try a hot bath with Epsom or any other bath salts

Well, just a new New aka newer Cat. But I worry new cat will feel abandoned if I get another cat. (Yes, I know that makes no sense.)

Today has been a trial. It began with an email miscommunication that I am going to need to correct in session tomorrow. Lots of Feelings (with a support worker, the people I try not to cry in front of) and then my workshop this weekend got cancelled. Was supposed to be my first in person workshop since February 2020, and would have fallen on my departed best friend's birthday.

Was missing former T a lot so I wrote her a short note. I know that the chances of her writing back are slim but sometimes she does. It just felt good to tell her how I am doing (which is mostly good) and to talk to someone about my sister and her situation that I know won't be judgemental.

I’ve now been waiting at the VA for four hours to get my ID badge. I submitted my paperwork months ago but apparently two office workers called in sick and they’re working at a snail’s pace. And there’s no WiFi.

Reason six million why I hate working with the government. (My fellowship is not primarily with the VA system, but we rotate through one of the local VA hospitals so we have to deal with their paperwork.)

When the time comes, but new cat could put up with it for a bit like when you have guests.

Yay somebody finally found my last amazon package. There are like 25 floors here, i am not gonna go searching every one for a package that amazon left "in a safe place".

Otoh, being without chocolate for 10 days may have reset my chocolate meter. For the good.

True but it does depend on personalities. My bestie got two new kittens three weeks ago, her older cat Oscar went along with no issues. Her other cat Cotton just ignores them.
