I always mouth songs along while shopping and having earplugs in, just saying...
You can hide all sorts of stuff :P

Im just thinking, $50k is either your accommodation or my new car. That is who is calling you a problem. The personal is political and all that. Universities REWARD people who rid them of problems. The person who fired me got a HUGE promotion.

Not arguing, just sayin. Cuz almost nobody has mo money than my old boss.

Ugh, so sorry atisketatasket. You're not "the problem", they are. It's so unfair that you're being scapegoated.

I've been scapegoat in jobs for being "different", though not due to disability.

Just got the call from the vet, results are back from the urinalysis. Not sure if this needs trigger warning so adding it just in case.
Possible trigger:

I've been flooded with more realizations since talking with L earlier. Like this major one. That I've been holding myself an emotional hostage to the relationship with her for a good while now. Don't ask me to explain that, not sure I could begin to, but... @#$%&^* I think it's 100% true.

P to me today: "I'm happy you're not a sociopath." Made me laugh out loud.

Context: He brought up how boys tend to react to the way I felt growing up by acting out or breaking the law, whereas I seemed to shrink into myself.

My T was awesome (as usual-I should be used to this by now), and was absolutely okay with the fact that I texted her over the weekend when I was struggling. She said it doesn’t happen often, and she understands.

Whew! Now to wait two weeks to see her…

Um, so since 2 days ago, my remaining friends (3 people) are taking shifts so I'm not alone in the flat due to how I'm apparently switching with no awareness or memory and doing unsafe things.

I might have to go inpatient psych. First time in my life. I'm scared.

I think getting through today's uncomfortable phone call with L in one piece calls for a glass of wine. {Artie passes around a bottle of Oliver Winery & Vineyards Cherry Moscato.} I haven't been drinking since July since I've been working on losing weight, but this is a special occasion.

Cheers!

Hugs, QM...I hope you can get through this without needing to go inpatient, but you also need to do what keeps you safe. Are you able to get in touch with pdoc to see if a change in meds could help?

I see pdoc tomorrow. Good and bad.
Pros:
- I like her because she's collaborative and doesn't mind me doing my own research.
- Complex trauma sensitive.
- Trans affirming (which is rare, and I have horrible gender dysphoria)
- Her colleague was the one who diagnosed DID, they can consult.
- She knows my therapist.

Cons:
- She isn't familiar with DID.
- While she's collaborative, maybe I shouldn't have to do my own research to find meds for my chronic bad PTSD nightmares that aren't the typical Prazosin.

I was on Prazosin for PTSD nightmares, but am now on Doxazosin. I still have nightmares, but not night terrors. I think L said it relaxes your fight/flight hormones? Something like that. So you'll still have nightmares (it's your brain's way of processing), but you shouldn't have an extreme reaction to whatever the dream is.

So i have been staying up all night for the past month or two or three, whats the word, binge-watching carp. So tonight i decided to use the time and take my diuretic, and take out a few bags of old garbage everytime i get up to pee. Two birds, or three! But i really do need to get on a daytime schedule. I guess. Or at least figure out how to sleep the night before a dr appt.

A couple weeks ago, my unhealthy sleep pattern was to go to bed at 10 and then cry for a couple hours till I fell asleep. Now it’s go to bed at 10, sleep for a few hours, wake up, toss and turn a few hours, then drift off again.

I was just finally getting back to sleep a bit ago when the smoke detector decided to alert me to a low battery. Bleah.
