H just called. He was suspended with pay for 2-3 months. It's complicated on why. He didn't do anything wrong. But basically all the upper management at his company are being suspended.

We were depending on an upcoming raise, but now that's not going to happen. Oh, and he's not allowed to look for another job either. H said he's going to restart his music label and do some mastering.

I told you I was having a bad day!

H worked for a vitamin company. He quit and went to work for the vitamin company's supplier. His old boss has been pissed since H left him high and dry. So his old boss is suing the manufacturing company saying H stole trade secrets (he didn't because he was never part of the manufacturing at either company). The stipulation is that H isn't allowed to do anything with IT for the company and isn't allowed to look for work during the time of the lawsuit. I'm not really sure why he can't find another job though...

I've that issue too and my T kind of taught me how. It involves sitting there silently, though I don't know how to describe the process.

I used to find the question confusing too. For me, it was because I wasn't in touch with my body. I didn't want to be. I despised my body and felt so much disgust trying to "feel" it.

L has helped me start recognizing feelings coming up in my body. Like stress I feel in my shoulders. Nausea in my stomach when I'm overwhelmed with emotions. She often offers suggestions based on what a person might feel. Usually I can pinpoint it with her help.

It's been hard, but very helpful. It's so interesting how the body and mind are really linked.

I have to flop down for a minute, couchies.

My co-worker smugly volun-hired me for something today that is outside my wheelhouse and later asked if I mind. Well I can't exactly decline since you didn't ask first, but I will take on the challenge because that's where I thrive. This is the second time my co-worker has skipped me and gone straight to my boss to ask for me to be assigned to something totally unrelated to my regular duties. I don't care for the sneak attacks.

Just when I was starting to get a handle on my anger bwahaha.

Tomorrow is my oldest child's 25th birthday. When did I get so old?

StressedMess, I would not care for what your coworker did AT ALL. I'm sorry you were put in that situation.

Also happy 25th to your child!

I heard from my therapist. She is alright. We are going to have an appointment on Saturday. Ah. I can relax a bit now knowing she is okay.

Hugs, Scarlet, I'm sorry about your H. I guess at least it's paid leave? I'm guessing he's not allowed to look for another job until the suit is resolved because if the company thinks he has trade secrets, they would be concerned about him taking them elsewhere? I hope it's resolved fairly quickly and won't cost your H his job.

Thanks, LT. I'll probably post an update after my pdoc appointment! I have no idea why I am so nervous. He is really nice and has been my doctor for a while. I guess just because my symptoms have been weird lately.

I took some anxiety medication (first time all week I have had to take it in the AM so that's progress at least) and migraine medication. Ugh. I keep getting nausea in the mornings so it is hard to eat but I kind of forced myself to eat and it helped a little. I need to bring up the nausea to my pdoc.

Taking my niece and nephew to see Minions: Rise of Gru tomorrow with my parents as well. I already saw it....on 4th of July. I gave them the option of Thor or Minions but they chose Minions. One just turned 9 and one is almost 18 so probably a good choice.

It's not a new country, but it's recently renamed itself, because Greece blocked it's entry into the EU because by naming itself Macedonia (it's old name) it 'pretended' as if Alexander the Great was from it's region, when really he was from South Macedonia, which is now Greece.

Doesn't make sense, I hear you saying? Yup, I'd agree. That's Euopean politics for you

My pdoc appointment went well. He increased one of my A/P's Latuda to 120 mg. And he put me back on Olanzapine which I like better than Lybalvi (and it is cheaper). And he said to start taking the Trintellix at night to see if that takes care of the nausea I am having in the AM. He said if not he can prescribe me an anti-nausea medicine. He didn't have much to say about the extra anxiety or the negative symptoms like lack of motivation, or lack of interest in things. He was like, let's take care of the psychosis first and then we will see how those symptoms are. He was very encouraging and supportive and helpful. I have no idea why I was so nervous! Silly me!

I'm so glad it went well, Kit! I was wondering if one of the meds could have been causing the nausea. Hope it helps to take it at night.

Thank you, LT! It's just weird that the nausea came on all the sudden (about 3-4 months ago). I have been taking Trintellix for years, at that dose. I talked to my GP about it but she said nothing she prescribes me would account for that and that I needed to talk to my Pdoc about it. He is pretty sure the Trintellix is the likely culprit. I already took it this morning so I will skip it tomorrow morning and take it tomorrow night and hopefully that will take care of the problem. It's lasting 3-4 hours or more a day. Sometimes I just can't eat. Other times I just force myself to eat to see if it will improve the nausea. I was sad today because I got an Annihilator (Iced coffee from Dutch Bros) but I was too nauseated to drink it. Boo! But I am hopeful this will fix the problem. It was just nice that he was empathetic and compassionate and kind with me. He always is. I don't know why I was so freaked out. Stupid anxiety! My Mom was actually helpful for once. I called her a little before the appointment and I was telling her I was anxious about it. She said to cut myself some slack, that a lot of people get anxious before doctor's appointments and that it is "normal." So that made me feel a bit better. It's surprising my Mom was actually helpful and sort of empathetic! I wonder what got into her?!!

When does Dr. T return?

We just had a hail storm! It was neat! It was fast and furious--how it usually is when we get a hail storm here in the Summer. It so so humid now though. Triple digits and humid. Yuck. Thank goodness for air conditioning and fans!

That's too bad about the coffee! I have nausea issues at times, too (in part from migraines as well as anxiety), and I hate when we've ordered or cooked something that I usually like, but then I can't eat it. I'm glad your mom was helpful.

I'll next see Dr. T on Monday. I know it will only be a total of 10 days (or 9, depending on how one counts days), but it's the longest he's been away in a year. He's had a couple times where he was away for 5-7 days, but that seemed more manageable the way that we scheduled.

R helped quite a bit this time, and I'm really only starting to miss him right now, as I'd normally have a session tomorrow (I saw her on the days of my usual sessions). I suppose that's progress of a sort? I haven't emailed him either and am not feeling a particular need/desire to do so. (Though I wonder if our recent conflicts regarding outside contact could be playing a role in that?)
