Also sending hugs, Scarlet. Is an insulin pump a possibility? Or else a wearable glucose monitor? Not sure if that's the right name, but a friend has diabetes (type 1, though it didn't appear until she was in her late 30s, oddly), and it will send out an alert if her blood sugar is too low or high.

I'm not to sure about anything yet. The doctor had me on a Freestyle Libre for two weeks (constant monitor of glucose). He's going to try to get my insurance to continue to approve it since I don't do the finger tests. As for the insulin, he said I might not need to be on it forever. In 4 weeks, he has me doing a blood test to see if I'm now type 1.

i can't sleep. so much racing around in my head tonight. i've been laying in bed for hours trying all the stuff i learned in the 8 week cbt thing for anxiety and nothing is helping tonight. boo! my alarm goes off in like 5 hours... ugh

maybe i can find some mind-numbing tv show to watch

Boy the hospital helicopter just buzzed my apartment bldg and woke me up. Sounded like it drove past my window. I was dreaming i had a super fast filling bathtub. And i was at work, and my coworker was trying to kiss me. I musta had my face jammed up against my pillow!

oh my! i hope you were able to get back to sleep! What an interesting dream. I hope the coworker was cute!

Today is being a little bit better of a day so far anyway, as I know I am off tomorrow. i'm taking my break early as a reward because I'm a little ahead of schedule on my messages, I've done 16 in the past 2 hours usually I'm at like 12 right now. Hugs and head nods all around as needed/wanted/appropriate.

I spoke too soon. It was a better morning, but now yet more problems have come up with the house we're selling and my stress is through the roof again, I'm sick to my stomach all the way around and am having horrible thoughts I haven't had in years and I.am.done. I'm seeing L tomorrow again for a little more support. I seriously need to run away from home and go live in a cave somewhere.

I'm so worn out & tired just from work and then this house stuff plus h's ongoing health issues plus him & I fighting all the time lately, i'm just wound so tight rn i feel like i'm gonna break

I ended up watching tv last night for awhile until I could shut my brain up enough to go to sleep and by then it was after midnight, and I got up at 4am before the stupid alarm even went off. I suppose lack of sleep may be contributing to my mental state today. I need to get myself out of these feelings somehow.

I just put a frozen cauliflower-crust pizza in the oven a few minutes ago, it's already smelling delish. I need to eat something, and that is what my stressed-out-self wants. Thankfully it does not want chocolate at the moment, as we don't have any in the house anyway. Well except for h's sugar-free chocolate pudding, but that's not the same.

It's my day off so I slept in, just got done with what I call 'breakfast for a queen' haha (egg scrambled with chopped baby spinach/red bell pepper/avocado) which was delicious. I did half of the laundry yesterday, so today I wouldn't have as much to do. I have no plans for today besides finishing the laundry, seeing L this afternoon and reading. Maybe a little crochet... maybe.

That sounds like a tasty egg recipe, Artie! I've never tried them with avocado. I hope L goes well this afternoon.

Bought a dress on Amazon today for my sister's wedding. It is kind of amazing to me that I could find a formal dress on Amazon, then again, Amazon pretty much has everything. I hope it fits and looks good. I don't really like to wear dresses and I hate dress shopping. My sister's divorce should be final in June. She is hoping to get married at the end of July. I am the maid of honor and my older niece is a bridesmaid. I assume the younger niece is the flower girl. She has her photographer, her hair stylist, and the person to officiate the wedding. She needs a venue, though she hasn't ruled out her backyard. Should be a smallish affair. I am going to have to ask her if she wants a bachelorette party. I hope not because I don't know how to give one. I was just a kid the first time she got married and even though I was the maid of honor then, I didn't throw the party. We had a very formal tea because that is what we do in my family.

Also work is slow today and I am bored. About 3 hours left. La la la. I did what I could do but I am waiting for more work to fall on my desk. With my luck it will all arrive in the last 30 minutes of my workday.

Is anybody else watching Mayfair Witches, Sunday nights on AMC? I read the books years ago (Anne Rice) so there's things I don't remember but over all I'm loving the show. I like Alexandra Daddario as Rowan; I don't think I've ever seen her in anything before.

I hope your afternoon goes by quickly and that you don't get a bunch of work dumped on you at the last minute.
