Tanya, I'm sorry! It's not that I don't appreciate your words or the sentiment. It's that the pain is doing the talking for me right now. I wonder sometimes what I would do without the love and support I get here. It's about the only place I get it. People here don't have an ax to grind and seem to be the only ones that see me for who I really am. THANK YOU!!

if you were a miserable mom you wouldn't be hurting right now, as you wouldn't care. You have to redefine yourself woman! Remember? I AM WOMAN HEAR ME ROAR!!!! not "just" a mom or a wife... because those things are contingent on others.... be WOMAN! No one can take that from us!

Aww, Angie... I'm "fired" out. I told him today that we had to talk, that there's two sides to every story. He said "I've heard them both." So... what good would a talk be? Certainly blasting him with the truth wouldn't do any good. It hasn't so far in gentle, loving tones.
What hurts is that I've realized it's time to cut my losses. The realization has hit me that it hurts worse to live for the days that he comes to see his father... not me... than it will to just forget him... or try. Out of sight, out of mind. PS Angie, you gave me the only real laugh of the day with your "bucket of cold water." Thanks!
