Currently reading "Lesbian Crushes at School: A Diary on Growing Up Gay in the Eighties" by Natasha Holme. It's so good. It describes a girl who is obsessed with her female teacher. Basically the character is just like me. I can relate to it so bad. You must really read it if you struggle with obsessions and so.

I want to stop obsessing and daydreaming about her so bad. But I think I know what my problem is. When I try to stop daydreaming about her, I have nothing to do .. Like, in dull or tough moments I escape to this fantasy world. Or when I'm mad, I daydream that she comforts me. I am very lonely, have no close people around me. If i stop daydreaming and so, I feel even more lonely at those moments..

Hi Elin95,
Just wanted to let you know that I am also struggling with this. And I am middle-aged! I have been in therapy for the last several months. The therapy is helping me understand it but I am still not over the obsession. I also struggled with it when I was a teenager. After several years I managed to rid myself of that particular obsession. Just wanted to let you know you're not alone! |

Maybe I know why I can't stop daydreaming about her.
I guess I just don't want to let her go. I have no one in my life. i don't have her either, but I can make myself believe that's she's still with me when I escape to my daydream. If I don't do this, I have nothing. |
