You're lucky, Costello. Even the weather has gone "Full British" - rainy and foggy - for the Queens' celebrations. :eyeroll:

Here. I found a solicitor to help me make a malpractice case against my psych.
I want him to be charged with wrongful imprisonment, but first I have to prove malpractice. Then I'll make a police complaint.

I feel like a bit of a ***** doing all of this, but he REALLY deserves it.

Good Luck with it - they always try to cover up those kind of things.

Yeah, I know. As far as I can find out, there has never been a successful malpractice suit against a psychiatrist in England and Wales. But I'm a real lawyer with all kinds of legal contacts on my side, so something has to come of it this time.

ETA: I have a laundry list of things I'd like him charged with, including assault, wrongful imprisonment, malpractice . . . but I have to narrow it down.

Well I've discovered a couple places where I painted in a dog hair or two, and I may have just broken the shower curtain rod, but I do now have the most interestingly and cheerfully painted bathroom ever. (if I may say so myself.....which I just did. )

Here. Did something uber-stupid this morning. I kept tasting fake orange flavour in my coffee, which was freaking me out and I thought it might be a delusion, so I had one of my flatmates taste it.
Turns out the taste was real, because I put soap in the mug to wash it but then never did wash . . . so I drank a mug full of soap coffee.
I think it concerns me most that the soap tasted so nice that it didn't once occur to me it was soap.

I did something similar last week. I squirted some dish washing liquid into my coffee cup and washed it - which I never do, putting the soap directly on the inner surface of the cup, because I never get it rinsed well enough after. This time for some reason, I did. I even thought about it while I was doing it and did it anyway.

Luckily for me my dish washing liquid doesn't taste good, so I knew after the first sip that I'd messed up. Wasted a whole cup of coffee, though.

I've been putting coconut oil in my coffee like you suggested, Costello. I haven't noticed any benefits yet but it does freak out the part of me that's prone to disordered eating. I like the nice coconut smell, though!

I treated myself to a cup from Starbucks after this morning's fiasco. Only £10 left until Friday-ish, but God strike me down if I don't get incredibly grumpy without my morning cup/if I don't get grumpy when I have soap coffee.

I think it's kind of stupid that they flavour dish soap.

Yea, I never noticed any difference yet. Maybe it's a question of faith.

Yeah, come to think of it, why do they do that? Of course, I've always heard antifreeze tastes good too. That's why animals sometimes get sick from consuming it.

I think they try to make the dish soap smell good. Perhaps the flavour is just a side effect of this.
Antifreeze does, in fact, taste sweet, but it's just because of the chemical make up. I don't think it was anyone's intention to create a sweet tasting product. (mmmm, my favourite! Antifreeze flavour!)

You would think they would make antifreeze taste disgusting, given how toxic it is -- like how they make gas smell bad.

I think they want the soap to smell good, and after all smell is a huge part of taste.

I believe that's it about the soap. (now has urge to taste own dish soap, which is ruby red grapefruit scented...)

In first aid courses, they teach you to give a cup of water with dish soap in it to induce vomiting.

Nope, I didn't throw up. It wasn't really a lot of soap, though. Just a drop.

It was about 70p at Tesco so I doubt it's natural!

I met with a career counselor today. He had me take a test to see what my Holland codes are. I'm an SAI. Social (helper); Artistic (creator); Investigative (thinker).

My top type by far was Social: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holland...s_.28Social.29

"Kind, generous, cooperative, patient, caring, helpful, empathetic, tactful, and friendly. They excel at socializing, helping others, and teaching. They like tasks that involve teamwork, social interaction, relationship building, and improvement of society. They enjoy activities that are public, humanitarian, educational, philanthropic, interpersonal, and service-oriented."

"People in the social category prefer to work with others. They tend to be highly verbal, express themselves well, and get along well in groups. Social types typically prefer the team approach to problem solving. People in the social category often describe themselves as cooperative, friendly, and understanding. They generally enjoy teaching, caring for others, volunteering, mediating disputes, meeting new people, and working in groups."

So I guess I should be a teacher or counselor or social worker. Most of the career suggestions they gave me pay less than I currently make.

I suppose that means "materialistic" wasn't on your list, and "frugal" should be added?

lol... That about sums it up. "Materialistic" has never been on my list, but I'm not liking the sound of "frugal."

Hmmm.... let's see..... perpetually bored in a soul-sucking job or broke doing something that satisfies me? Which should I choose? Which should I choose?

Haha, isn't that everyone's question?

I can be a rich barrister, or a comfortable whatever-the-hell-it-is-I-do-now, or a perpetually broke knitwear designer. What do choose?!?
