Maybe you need to get used to the AD. It may take a while.
Do you still have your anti anxiety meds? the ones they upped the dose of?
I thought those helped you sleep.

Maybe I will get some from Tractor Supply this spring but Im picky. I want Ameracauna, cookoo(sp) maraun and Narragansett turkeys.
Colored eggs sell better at the farmers market.
I was going to get some at Orsheln, but I decided I wanted some breeds they don't have. I ordered White Chanteclers, Salmon Faverolles, and Black Copper Marans.

This sounds fun I wish I could have chickens---we actually have a bylaw in my condo preventing them even though the only outdoor space we have are balconies

I saw and actually spoke to another human being for the first time in ten days. Lazy me doesn't want to do anything but spend the days in my PJs and play on the computer.

We eat them out of necessity.
Chicken and venison all winter. Ugg. Not by choice though.

I do usually keep a small flock over winter but not this year. I understand about going crazy buying chicks. haha! I tend to go overboard with all the choices and they are so fun to watch grow up and the coop is a nice quiet, happy place I go when I need to be alone. Hens are good listeners.

Turkeys are my favorite as they have distinct personalities and love to be held. As soon as a turkey hatches, they will look at you. You stick your hand into the brooder pen and they will run up to your hand. Very curious birds. Problem is, when they get huge, they think they are still babies and will try to fly up and sit on your lap!
How many chickens do you have right now?
Thanks for this!

Do you eat the roosters too?

I have 20 now. 8 pullets (5 not laying yet), 2 hens (one no longer laying), and 10 roosters. Yep, too many roosters. They all get along pretty well, though.

I get that way when I visit my dad who lives about hour and a half away from where I live. Not that I miss my mom (we've have been getting along more lately though) but more like missing home and I hate to say it... not having my brother/sister little kids around (Children stress me out). It warms my heart to hear about girls loving their dads. Always loved the idea of being a "daddy's girl". However my dad and I have too much bad history and it's just not the same with my stepdad.

I woke up at 5 AM and here I am. I love how peaceful the early morning hours are. I might have to start making this more routine because I really love it. It's so quiet. I'm not hearing voices for the time being so it's just quiet. I love the quiet.

I've been having this same problem.

Yesterday I was at the store and I was backing out of the parking space when a white and tan monkey head popped out of my stearing wheel and tried to bite me..... stupid brain.... Luckily I was going slow and didn't hit anyone. Scared me, though. It actually would have been cute if it wasn't angry.

another funnier thing I went to get dinner at the drive through and the car in front of me had 2 bumper stickers. One said "Love animals, don't eat them." The othe said "I Tofu." All I could think was WTH is this person doing in a drive through at a burger place?? LOL.

I was just laughing. I was so weird... I figure 1) they bought the car from someone else. Or 2) They were getting just a drink or something for a friend. I didn't see what they got, but it was so strange.
