Lol we're watching cartoon network, Adventure Time. My stepdad is laughing. Then again he also enjoys anime like I do so I'm sure he doesn't mind cartoons. I'm proud to say that I introduced him to anime. Lol they have a new show called "Teen Titans Go". I use to watch "Teen Titans". The "Teen Titans Go" kind of trippy. Then again what cartoon isn't these days xD
Thanks for this!

Agghh I LOVE Adventure Time. ~~~

I can't handle most new cartoons, though. I grew up watching reruns of the classic Looney Toons and Hannah Barbara cartoons (also watched a lot of Betty Boop and Popeye, but that's not related), so when I see the new ones, the animation really throws me off and it's just not the same.

I also loved the bizzare/dark/messed up cartoons of the late 90s and early naughties (2000s). Things like Courage the Cowardly Dog, Invader Zim (I'm a huge Jhonen Vasquez fan), etc.

I also loved the movie the Brave Little Toaster as a kid, but looking back it's actually kind of disturbing (the air conditioner kills itself, there's a scary clown nightmare sequence, a flower dies of loneliness, there's a part where the appliances end up at an electrician's who basically "mutilates" and experiments on them Frankenstein-style, and there's a song called "Worthless" where a bunch of cars sing about their inevitable deaths as they are killed by a car crusher).

Only time I watched older cartoon was when I was at my dad's when I was little. Always made me sleepy.

OH GOD I love Invader Zim. The last anime convention I went to they had a panel with the voice actors of Gir and Zim. The voice actor of Zim was hilarious. When I was watching Invader Zim when I was younger my stepdad started watching it and was like, "This is a child cartoon?". Invader Zim so wasn't a child cartoon.

Ha, I've watched The Brave Little Toaster when I was younger as well. I've never realize how dark that was. xD

My all time favorite cartoon when I was little was Rugrats. I watched that show religiously.
Thanks for this!

Have you read any of Jhonen Vasquez's comics? My favorite is Johnny the Homicial Maniac, but if you want something more like Invader Zim, there's always Squee!

I actually haven't read any of his comics. I've been meaning to read Johnny the Homicidal Maniac for a LONG time. Just never have.

I had a pretty good day today, I went snowboarding with my friends and I plan on doing my homework later today since I feel like relaxing. How do I add a pic on the forum? I found a really funny pic on tumblr that everyone would like.

It really was and I'm getting better at snowboarding too. I can carve better (how you turn on a snowboard) so that made me feel pretty good. I also figured out how to upload a pic onto here so that worked out well. I honestly think pets are the best help in any kind of treatment so I found this pretty cute.

I got to try snowboarding one time. I think i spent more time on my knees or my butt than on my feet but i had a blast! I would definitely try it again. I'm so glad you had fun. Its a good workout too.
