I'm doing great! Having some voices but it's not too bad. I am able to ignore them for now so it's all good. Therapy is going great, I'm finally seeing someone who's not intimidated by me. It's a wonderful world!
Thanks for this!

I hope you can find someone that can help you. It can take awhile to find the right fit but I can tell you it's worth it!

I just clocked out at work. Waiting to be picked up. So cold in here! I can't wait to get in the warm car. Its always the first time i am warm all day. I am so glad i got all my errands and chores done yesterday. Today when i get home i will hav to do my exercises, but other than that i can relax hopefully.
Thanks for this!

I'm proud of you for going through with it and getting it scheduled.

I can totally relate to how you feel! That's why I said in an earlier post that it would like a roller coaster ride once I follow through with all this. Just know I am here for you!
Thanks for this!

Gr3tta: I have the opposite problem. I am hot all day until I leave work. My classroom is at the end of the hallway in a corner and I have three big windows that face the sun. I wear knee length shorts to work even when it's cold outside. I hate being hot all day! Ugh!

Let me tell you a little about my former T---she was for cbt so we didn't deal with a ton of past issues first of all but focused on the present. Importantly we set an agenda at the start of the hour to make sure covered the things that both of us thought were important ie some stuff from the last time...new stuff that was bothering me etc. The only time I was talking about something I really didn't want to was about this guy I used to like but its not like she was forcing me she just kept asking more questions and saying it was important and in the end I agree it was important because all that is cleaned out and dealt with now. So try not to worry a good one will totally adjust to meet your needs not the other way around.

For the first time ever I work in a building where the thermostats actually change the temperature and aren't just for display---I can have whatever temp I want!

i am sooo jealous!!!! I've broken into thermostats several times. These ones though just dont seem to serve any purpose. "Display only" as you put it.

I know its amazing I used to keep sweaters for summer and T-shirts for winter in my drawers at work. Apparently the last place I worked for 10 years they actually were supposed to work but some damper in the ceiling broke that adjusted to air flow so we weren't getting any changes from the switch at all. We had no idea until it broke even further and began making a smashing noise in the ceiling---the entire vent line had disintegrated too. On the plus side there we were getting temps that could be adjusted by opening a window---we actually had windows that opened there while now we have these huge all wall windows that can't be touched so I'm so happy the heat/cold works.

I just woke up. My sleep schedule is off. I need to get it turned around but it's such a pain to do.

Punky-I think I understand about the therapy. I just finished with what is call cognitive processing therapy. It was a lot of work but I got through it. It's specifically for ptsd. So now I'm just doing case management so I can continue seeing the psych nurse.

Hope everyone is doing ok.
Thanks for this!
