I'm so glad you went! Is there any sort of non-Xanax solution for your anxiety? You know breathing exercises, yoga that sort of thing? Honestly I know it's not as good but it can sometimes take the edge off if you are getting toward panic...for the breathing you can try lying on the floor and cupping your stomach with your hands and then breathing so your stomach fills your hands. You want to puff up your stomach and not your lungs because it's actually deeper breathing through your diaphragm.

lol non-xanax solution?! idk. thats hard. maybe i can try the deep breathing but i always been bad at that deep breathing stuff. cuz i panic so much. i got ambien?

Sounds like everyone has been busy this weekend. We just came back from a leadership conference. A man from Florida flew up here to talk and a Man from Nigeria Africa. We are so fortunate to live here when I hear about how people survive and live in Africa. Feeling grateful.
It was funny though. Both of these men were so cold because they are used to the heat. They were all bundled up and we had to keep the room really warm for them. lol. It was -5 outside.
We had a good time though. Bean had a good time because she does not get to go many places but she has been having a lot of voices.

If you're actually breathing the right way you can't panic it's basically not possible because it switches on your parasympathetic nervous system instead of the sympathetic nervous system. I learned that in cbt....there was this whole routine about how long you should hold it etc but seriously as long as you focus on your stomach expanding instead of your lungs it will calm you down a bit. The routine was actually supposed to train you to breath right all the time and then you would never get nervous but I found it complicated so just try breathing with your stomach. Plus I highly recommend any sort of gentle yoga cd my favorite is stress relief yoga with Suzanne deason....it's set by a beach so calming and gentle.

Yeah I know it's happening but I'm intentionally selecting away from those stories one of the reasons I prefer to read my news instead of watch...much easier to select the fluff stories I like.

But yea, the news can send anyone into a panic attack with the stuff on there. But I guess we need to see and know some things in order to know what is happening in the world.

Alright here's the tl;dr.. half of Ukraine wants to join the EU the other half wants to join Russia and massive riots ensue. Lots of people die and the president is kicked out of the country. The new government is formed Russia is pissed as well as half the country. Russia sent soldiers into Ukraine last night and took control of the southern portion of the country. EU is freaking out, US is freaking out, and NATO is freaking out. WW3 may or may not happen

What a horrible situation to be in. That is very upsetting. The poor people.
Why cant everybody just get along? Is it so hard to do in this world of ours???

It's crazy. The situation is frighting. Last thing we need is another world war.

A lot of new changes might happen and if they do I hope they are good. We might move to a cheaper place in a nice neighborhood and might have a nice job too. My hallucinations scare me a bit, but I rather be a bit scared than manic.
