I like Dido's song better too but since I was already listening to Eminem already I though I give Stan a try this time.

Maybe you can find something to do to distract yourself. Earlier you spoke about baking cookies. Is that something you'd be interested in doing today?

There's nothing in the kitchen to bake anything with. Don't have any ingredients to bake with. Lol should of bought some when I was at the store with my dad last night.

Okay well what about calling your mom and talking to her? Would that help?

Mom and I aren't that close. She'll probably see it as attention seeking and be stone cold when discussing things like this. I normally go to my ex boyfriend about stuff like this. He is pretty helpful.

I need to go grocery shopping today too but I don't want to leave my apartment! I dread the crowds of people everywhere.

You guys don't keep flour and sugar stocked? I always have an open bag and a spare along with confectioners and brown sugar and vanilla. I guess I bake a lot...last week I made a salted caramel cheesecake with pecan shortbread this week I was lazy and bought break and bake cookies...

What is your favorite cooking blog? Do you follow smitten kitchen?

Well if you go early in the day or for example at church time or during sporting events it's usually way emptier but they will only have like one or two cashiers open. Still for me it's the small kids they are so hard to work around because the don't know to move so a early in the morning when they are still asleep is best.

Not at my dads but at home we do. I know they have sugar but no flour. That caramel cheesecake with pecan sounds delicious.

I don't follow any cooking blog. I do randomly look up recipes online though. lol never heard of smitten kitchen... I just looked it up. Looks interesting.

Yeah smitten kitchen is basically written by one woman deb who lives is New York and has a cookbook based of the blog....she tries all the fabulous offerings at top New York restaurants and also gets a lot of new cookbooks but anything she makes always has some sort of enhancement that makes it uniquely hers.
A really over the top dessert site is culinary concoctions by Peabody and another one I really like is homesick Texan. Albeit when it comes to baking I am just as likely to make something for the cake mix doctor...

You guys should try making ice cream bread. 2 cups vanilla ice cream (just buy cheap store brand is fine) 1 1/2 cups self rising flour, 1 Tbsp sugar, then add ny flavors you like sich as orange zest abd dried cranberrie, lemon zest and blueberries, or cinnamon and raisins. You can be creative! Pour into a 8x4 loaf pan - coated with nonstick spray or butter/margarine, and bake at 350 F for 45 min.
Easy and yummy.
Thanks for this!

That sounds good...I had only seen ice cream cake before but never made it because I just can't mentally stand letting ice cream melt (except in my mouth!)

Devils advocate here...Why are you Ok with taking Xanax which makes you sleepy but not haldol which does the same. Is it a different feeling?
