I get that... but if she has overdosed on ambien and is not able to contact anyone.. that would be the purpose for sending out a welfare check.

just got off work. it went well. T and i talked about trying to be more social with my coworkers. so i tried it and it was good. it felt natural and not forced like usual. i was able to be myself. T texted me a picture of a book he got. he was all excited about it. Its called Living with Voices: 50 stories of recovery. ive been taking 100mg seroquel in the morning and on ein the afternoon and 200mg at night. i dont have akathesia anymore so thats good and im glad. no voices. no paranoia. just feeling pretty good. now if i can only motivate myself to do the dishes

Hopefully she just fell asleep. Maybe when her dad arrives home she'll wake up and check Roll Call. I hope and pray she will!

i hope newtus is ok too. she most likely just fell asleep i bet. but it sucks she put you all in this position. i guess thats why they say no suicide posts. because it makes others feel helpless. i care about newtus too but i think there are options for her to help herself. i struggle with isolation too.. it sucks...but there are ways to overcome it. u just have to be willing and committed to changing. My T asked me today if there was something appealing about being psychotic. he said i cant seem to let it go. it made me think a lot. i told him the only appealing thing is that im not really bored when im psychotic cuz there is a lot going on. but when im well i struggle with boredom. i appreciate him exploring that with me. i guess im trying to say that it seems like newtus has a hard time letting go of unstability. maybe being stable scares her. but i dont know i cant speak for her. sometimes its hard to want to get better when doing badly is all u know. ive been there before. im not coming down on newtus or anything just trying to be helpful i guess. i really do hope she is ok and just asleep.

Yeah I actually attempted 3 times. I had no one to help me. My mom tried but she took advice from the wrong ppl and I was put in a very abusive environment.

Anyway newtus is lucky to have ppl like us that care about her. I hope she seeks help soon.

I was reading back on old posts from other Roll Calls. I remember back in November Newtus felt ganged up on by responses she received to her posts. I had responded to a post and it upset her. I really hope that I didn't upset her with anything I said today. I never want her to feel judged or ganged up on. I really, really hope that she sees that I care and so do others that respond to her posts.

I have six little pullets who are about two months old now, 4 Australorps and 2 Brown Leghorns. They're so lively and funny. It's wonderful to have something so sweet and funny to make me smile. Here's my facebook status update from this morning:

Quote:
I witnessed it with my own eyes this morning. The early bird really does get the worm.

The first Australorp out the door this morning found an earthworm on the patio. I don't think I've ever seen such an excited little bird. Must have been her first worm. She picked the worm up and proceeded to run around the patio giving excited little squeals. Of course this attracted the attention of all the other Australorps and the Leghorns and, yes, even Roo who I'm sad to say roused his lazy self to try and steal the worm.

Unfortunately the Australorp was too small to eat the whole worm in one go, so she'd run until no one was near then set it down to take a bite. As soon as she set it down, though, she'd be surrounded by her competitors (or would-be thieves). So, she'd snatch it up and run again, all the while shouting out her excitement.

Sometimes, when people are really sick, they don't know how sick they are and they don't know how to ask for help.

Idk I'm not a therapist. I'm just giving out the best advice I can. I guess I'll just be quiet.

None of us here are therapists. We all just try to help each other the best way we know how. That's all we can do is offer healthy advice and try to build each other up.
