thanks. i shouldnt have taken the celexa today but i already did. i knew things could evolve but i didnt know how quickly. i didnt think about the meds triggering stuff. they have an answering machine i just called but idk how effective it would be to leave a voicemmail.

This is a random question but I'm curious, how much time does everyone here spend in front of a mirror each day?

They probably won't get back to you until Monday but you will be the first one they call if you left your number etc...
I don't know how fast it can change for you but some people cycle very quickly...it's highly variable...

I look in pretty much any reflective surface some days, other days I'm not bothered.
Thanks for this!

For me like 5-10 minutes in the morning to brush my teeth and hair and maybe 5 at night plus a minute at a time while washing my hands during the day....

I consider myself low maintenance...no curling makeup etc....sometimes sunblock/moisturizer on my face depending...

That's how I am, except it's every single day for me. It takes up a good portion of my day and I've been thinking that this may be considered a bit different, hahahaha.

Wow seriously? Damn hahahaha.

I can spend hours in front of mirrors and do so on a pretty frequent basis.

I guess it depends why your doing it. Like some days I look because I'm glad that I look okay cos I rarely make the effort, but some days I'm really paranoid that I look fat so I look all the time. Do you know why your looking?

Some AD's do cause this in some people. Known fact.

I just like looking, I think I'm beautiful. I can get lost in my reflection for a long time... it just occurred to me recently though that probably most people don't do that! Hahahaha.

Yeah no kidding. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person on this board with any kind of self-esteem.
Thanks for this!

Lol.
I used to be very self confident and then I allowed myself to be put into the situation I am currently in.

No one to blame but myself.

But I opened my eyes over the winter and realize what happened. I am in the early stages of taking my life back and becoming the strong independant person I once was.

Im kind of embarassed to have let this happen to me.

Long enough to brush my teeth and hair. Every time I wash my hands I glance in the mirror too. When I put on my make up which I only do on work days I spend about 20 minutes looking at myself. I see how time and troubles have aged me so I don't enjoy looking in the mirror. I also see a much fatter face now. I wish I looked different. And no I've never had a great deal of self esteem.

That sucks.

I love looking in mirrors, I've been like that since childhood. It's interesting.

I don't really like mirrors. I was really bothered in theatre school because ballet class every morning I got to look at myself in a leotard in a room that was wall to wall mirrors.

I'm critical about my body, but I really like who I *am*. I still have insecurities.
