I don't know if anyone remembers me,I was on here a few months ago.I think I've gotten much worse.I can't differentiate who is there and who is not.sometimes I even wonder if I am the one who's not here.Maybe I am a ghost or dead or something...maybe everything around me is fiction and this whole world is made up by me,and my mind has imagined this all up.

Today, at every public place I go to, I will spread the truth. Hopefully my mom doesn't stop me, and that I unbrainwash them. Then they can help to unbrainwash everyone else!

yeah, that's good. ur on a low dose anyway. so i doubt ur side effects will be as severe as mine were. i take metformin now and it's working to lower my prolactin levels cuz i got my period again, but sometimes it gives me diarrhea. more so when i first started taking it, not as bad now.

I don't know alot about mood triggers or whether its just considered spontaneous in some people but things like sunlight I know can have impact but possibly also anxiety etc. I'm just wondering if your pdoc gave you any tips for mitigating this outside of meds...

My pdoc doesn't really give me any tips outside of meds, and frankly therapists haven't either. They're just like, "well talk to your pdoc and get your meds adjusted."

It's so frustrating. It's like if you can't take a pill for it then oh well, you're on your own!

I feel thoroughly ****ed over.

I get like this every summer. I don't know if sunlight is a factor or not because I was manic as hell in January this year when as you know the days are very short. It seems just random.

Anxiety isn't really a factor for me so I don't know what it is that's triggering this. It feels completely random, and that doesn't make it any easier.

OK I just wasn't sure I haven't read much about bipolar or the bipolar elements of sza. I'm kind of surprised given that there is cbt for psychosis and they consider things to trigger that, that there is not some equivalent for bipolar type symptoms. Even the genetics of bipolar/mood stuff seem really unknown...I'm not sure why. It may be that there is no pattern to moods and it simply doesn't have a genetic basis but some people have clear seasonal patterns. Anyway sorry that things kind of suck right now....

Atypical, the tips my pdoc has given me for mania are to keep a routine, lie down every night at the same time and get up at the same time whether you sleep or not, exercise but not too close to bedtime, keep in touch with friends, meditation (which is excruciating while manic but can help), set mealtimes.

Hope you get through it soon and things go back to normal.
