I enjoyed the chat. Glad I was finally able to make it to one. It's nice to know we're not alone.

i meant to checkout the chat today but i frgt. ive had an exhausting day running errands i didnt do the entire week.

sorry

ive also been thinking about. my illness.
and ive come to realize... trying to be well has made me try to push anything i percieve as being "delusional" away and thats just not me. but yet im not "delusional". im just me. if im "delusional" to other people that just who i am. i am just me. i cannot change that. i am just who i am. im so scared to come across as sick to other people.

i cant change who i am. i just cant. i cant for the sake of me but then i literally cant.

You shouldn't try to change who you are for anyone.

Has anyone ever tried using curiosity as an antidote for anxiety? Like when you know you're going to be stressed writing out some things that are exciting that you want to know about the event....like I have a concert to go to on Sunday but I always get nervous headed downtown....but maybe if I wrote out things I wanted to see or do on the way it would be better? I don't know, I haven't tried it yet but there's a researcher who studies the intersection of curiosity and anxiety ...I think I'll look for migrating birds or something....we sometimes get mergansers but at the minimum I should see some Canada geese...I'll let you know if it works

Good morning ^^

Two months in.. Doing good..

Flavoured tobacco is banned in my Provence. I have honey flavoured cigars and Cuban cigars but I guess the smoke shop is selling them anyways until they get caught and go out of business.

Newtus: How are you getting on with the vaping? You mentioned a while ago you're off the smokes a while. Any tips for quitting the cigs and going onto the vaper? Have about 10 left and after that I have to quit, all my money is going on smokes!

Angelique: How did you get on with it as well? Is it working for you?

its going well.
i still havent had a real cigarette since december.
my tips are when you switch to vaping dont keep any real cigarettes in your house. itll only tempt you and youll keep smoking. it did me at first. throw away any cig boxes. itll only tempt you to get more.

its going well. in the long run i save money. i even smoke less while vaping. sometimes i dont vape as much after having vaped for awhile

That's fantastic you've done so well with it. Good advice too, I was thinking of having an "emergency supply" but you're right, that's probably not a good idea. Did you find it difficult at first? That's probably a silly question but did you're cig cravings last long?

yea they last a week.
not long.
the nicotine in the ecig helped curb my cravings for real cigs.
after awhile you can go down how much nicotine you are using in ecigs to 0mg. to nothing. little by little. im down to 18 from 24mg.

I bought an 18mg juice. Do you reckon I should try a 24mg one to start with?

I'm struggling because my husband smokes. They are always in the house so I grab them instead of my e-cig. Which is totally stupid because I smoke outside in the cold.

i couldnt smoke real ones inside my house. so i had to smoke in all temps outside with all the wasps and stuff. now i can smoke inside with my ecig on the couch. its great. no more bugs. or cold or extremely hot weather. no more getting a tan. no more extra paranoia about people driving by looking at me.

I'm drinking a La Croix this very moment!
So do you add or blend Kimchi and then mix it with alcohol to make these, or are you just joking? I love kimchi! It's gotta be one of the healthiest things to eat.
