Driven out of apartment by neighbors

Thank you, newtus. Things are the same. I almost fell apart badly this morning when after I woke up it wasn't happening, and I thought maybe they were going to stop. But by the time I made coffee they were up and all three of them started again. I thought I was going to lose my mind entirely, until I wrote my prayer and prayed it. I feel stronger now.

I know you shouldn't have to do this, but this is what I did when I had a similar problem -

1. I bought a pair of noise-canceling headphones.
2. I always used headphones to watch TV and listen to music.
3. Whenever I was trying to sleep I had a fan or a white-noise generator on the nightstand next to my head.

All three things worked extremely well, although I very much resented having to do any of this stuff just to live in peace.

Living in apartments has completely destroyed whatever shred of faith in humanity I had left.

Oh no. There's a car honking outside. Just a minute or so ago a man's voice outside said "don't move!" To whoever is out there. But I know who's out there. My enemies. I don't even want to live anymore because of them.

Lots of unending honking now. Anytime there's noise outside, it's due to the scumbag downstairs.

As a follow up, a great deal keeps unfolding, but here's what I know.

Since last Wednesday, the authorities have interviewed my neighbors for 5 days straight, for about 6 or 7 hours each day. I have no idea why.

The very first day, I think, the neighbors confessed to everything - the pounding and stamping and the triggering of me.

ETA: the least amount of updating possible. Probably this thread should be closed or deleted now.

I do find it somewhat strange that the police or whatever are there for long periods of time so many days running. I can't really fathom why that would be.

Still, at least something seems to be happening that will hopefully resolve all this.

I really hope for your sake this is nipped in the bud soon like you predict.

My paranoia and anxiety have been very bad. Each day I thought the ambulance/police were here for me but so far they haven't taken me away yet. The neighbors have thought that, so that's why I've been so panicked. Because none of them have been taken away either, and I jumped to the conclusion it was there for me.

I still feel very on edge.

Thank you, DNA. None of it makes sense. I guess I may never know what's going on.

It's the 6th day and I still haven't been taken, after the neighbors rejoicing at my misfortune, believed I would be. I seriously have no idea what's going on. Why such wastefulness of resources if neither I nor them will be taken?

At the urging of the janitor they've been blowing caustic fumes through the holes in the walls. (Unfortunately the walls are broken in spots.)

The police were here yesterday to confirm but unfortunately the evidence had blown away through the open window by the time they arrived.

I'm hoping to get away from here asap.

And they're blasting (truly blasting) obnoxious music at the same time. They did this in 2013 when I was withdrawing cold turkey from benzos too.

Hi Angelique, I was just wondering if your pdoc might give you a few of the benzos just to see if things might get better for you. This sounds so similar to my psychosis I went through in 2007, withdrawing from xanax & celexa. All the best Angel.

No, I came off benzos in 2013.

I think they have no interest in harming you. Maybe annoying you, but I do not believe you should live your life in fear. Also do not do anything to harm any of them which could bring you real problems. You need to talk to someone who can understand like your doctor. Regardless it sounds like you are having some emotional problems even without them being involved.

Well, the fumes are more than an annoyance. I became extremely sick from them. And now my feet and lower legs are tingly/numb.

That's easy to say from your perch, on high, but I was terrified almost every day the past two months.

No need to get riled up, though. We just see you going through a really bad place right now. Its causing you emotional distress and psychological distress and the hospital could really help you. OR just going to see the doctor.

I just wish you could get a new place!
