No SSRI's don't increase dopamine, but a high dosage of an SNRI called Effexor would. Wellbutrin does also, and that is known to cause paranoia. SSRIs just increase serotonin by a million which has a numbing effect. My roommate does well on it, however I couldn't feel any emotion except anger and frustration.

SSRI's make me manic depressive. The mania I receive is agitation. Maybe you have a biological inclination towards bipolar like I do... Have you tried a mood stabilizer? Lamictal has been a 3 in one for me. Stops my panic attacks, balances my mood (if I even need that), and acts as an antidepressant.
Thanks for this!

It was okay, it was the shortest stay I've ever had because I was doing pretty good on the second or third day or being there. My inpatient doctor put me on Geodon in addition to a higher dose of Stelazine, so I am concerned I might be overmedicated? But I feel fine so far.

I am feeling better. I was really ready to be done with everything just to get rid of the voices, but now I am feeling a little better. The voices aren't gone, but they never leave completely. They are just quieter.

I am doing okay.
I'm glad it wasn't too bad. If the geodon doesn't work out for you, please let them know.

@justme you cracked me up, saying your bf was yelping! Lol, I love your sense of humor.

There was too much to remember because it was a great bunch of posts.

I'm sick of the mice. I will need to deal with it anyway I can. :/

Well the good news is that I heard from the neurologist, sad part is the appointment is about 40mins away during rush hour traffic away for 9am on the 16th, for my ankle.
It always seems to be good news/bad news here. Some of these emojis are wild... Roll Call 86

Going out to lunch with my sister this weekend at a local bar/restaurant.

Hope everyone's doing well
Hahaha, I love my Swiffer WetJet too. But at this point I need some really good cleaning down first. Lol. I keep thinking I should just wait until I get the heavy duty cleaning is done.

It should be legal to kick one's mental health team to tell us we're fat. Kick your doctors because they clearly do not understand the way we have to.

I'd start looking at places you spend time the most. Bed? Sofa? Under pillows? Behind the TV maybe it fell down? Hope you find it soon

I'm not sure about bipolar. I could be. I have wondered. I have so many diagnoses. I really think the bulk of my problems is from my life just being one traumatic event to the next. Also the insane amount of hardcore drugs I've done in my life.

I been on pretty mch every med. Lithium, depakote, lamictal, topamax. Plus all the ADs and APs

I got a letter from my insurance the other day. They wrote that my official diagnosis Is schizophrenia, unspecified and post traumatic stress disorder

The schizophrenia dx is news to me
