Good morning from the west coast it's cloudy and looks like it's going to rain it's my only day off this week and it's closed most of the stores post office and bank because of the holiday here that was on Saturday

I hurt my back. Took a Vicodin in hopes it will help. I doubt it because it seems meds are blocked by my psych meds.

Well that's nice because Canada turned 150 there was sales everywhere for things that were $1.50 including ice cream still is until Thursday I think!!

I'll ask my doctor for some if it keeps up, thanks /

Not me it's all dairy ice cream I be getting sick I just bought them for my friends

Okay my back feels a little better. It sucks having a bad back. I have 2 ruptured discs and an annular tear. I don't go to the doctors for it most of the time. They just want to send me to the pain center. I don't want that.

Blue_Bird, I think that's an excellent suggestion, the anti nausea meds. Ginger ale is good but unopened bottles get stale if you keep them too long. So ginger tea is good to have on hand because tea lasts almost forever.

I finally fell asleep around 2am and was woken at 5:45am to take my Synthroid. Then woken again at 7:30 when breakfast came. Then I was woken at about 11:00 am to talk to a lady, I forget what she does but it had to do with assessing me for return to my apartment and making sure I'm safe. She asked me if I still self injured. I haven't done that in 40+ years.

I called my doctor and left a message. Hopefully someone gets back to me, I asked if she could prescribe something for the nausea I've been having. Keeping fingers crossed. If she does I'll go back to the store to pick it up and grab some ginger ale and tea.

Good luck! Ever since I've been in this facility I've had terrible gas and stomach cramps. I hate illnesses of the stomach and guts. The psych wards I've been on always provided ginger ale for the snack times, but here you can only get it from the Coke machine in the solarium.

I went through all my boxes of tea and found one with ginger in it. It also has peppermint which I believe is supposed to help

That's great! Sip a cup of that slowly and see if you feel better.

Every time I put clothes in the hamper for washing, not all of it comes back to me. I'm writing my name inside with a black Sharpie but it still doesn't get back to me. :/

Thanks, it always makes me feel very exposed when people wake me up for a chat when I'm still asleep. I can.never take in all they're saying.

Yes, and the energy drink is the only source of caffeine and they're out of it. :/So if they're asking me things it's taking me longer now. But I'm hopeful that I'll be leaving here soon. The bike machine is there but I have not been getting over there. I'm not succeeding at getting anything done. They must think I'm so lazy.

I walked my fatass back to the store and got a 2 liter of ginger ale and some saltine crackers, hopefully that helps. My doctor called while I was gone. She said I can go back down to my original dose if I want to for now then we can talk later in the week
