Thank you. I feel so alone here. We didn't get a chance to hug much or anything. I go months and years without anyone's touch.

There was a carnival here today but I didn't know. I'd have liked to see it. I'll have to pay more attention to the calendar. I'm so depressed right now. I'm just stuck in this awful place. I can't even retreat to food because supper here is always really light. Time is so weird here. Anytime I'm locked up, everything feels impossible.

I'm sorry, Angelique. It breaks my heart that you are locked up there.

So my sleep seems to be a little better since I started using blue light filters on all my devices. Add in that we have full night now after four months of twilight hours, it's probably helping as well. Not looking forward to the winter months...

Very dark, and very cold. During December it's 4-5 hours of daylight tops. I use a sun lamp a lot. Temps anywhere from 15 to -20 F.

Newtus, Gabapentin does work better if its in your blood. Maybe you just need to adjust your dosage. Maybe take it twice a day when you most feel it. Or if you take multiple pills per dosage then scale back one pill. It all depends on how well you can handle your anxiety while you test this out until you find out what works best for you.

How is your anxiety right now?

Wow, that sounds depressing. I like winter but not like that extreme

Truth. If I had no attraction to a woman at all I wouldn't date her. It would be wrong of me to string her along with no hope for a future. I only date a person if I see a potential mate.

Yeah, it really is. I was not ready for last winter. At least I know what to expect this time. And I'll be getting a trip to the States in for the holidays, which will give me a break from the extremes.

Oh memories from Italy! I spent 3 weeks there, one in Rome and two in Florence. My neighborhood friend moved to Italy and I was invited. I went to school with him there, we played soccer on his league there, I went to games, I went to every museum. His mother was an art history major so I learned a lot. I wish people from my work would visit Italy. They work to live, they don't live to work. Everything is set up differently there. Plus they're so damn cool dressed in black smoking cigs. It was weird when this guy bought an adult magazine and started to look at it with the rest of the guys... he was wearing spandex. hahahahahahaha There were so many good museums there in Florence...
