Oh my gosh...this is too gold of a moment NOT to share:

So I left the restroom and heard My Little Pony stuff playing---only to turn and see it wasn't playing and the current video was paused. My wife said she was watching Life is Strange (video game) stuff on YouTube for the last half hour. I told her "well hearing the voices doesn't bother me so much anymore...but *life is strange* though."
....the look on her face after I said this...was glorious. Apparently I still have some humor in me.
Thanks for this!

I took the bipolar one and it said I show signs of bipolar II. The schizophrenia one says I show some signs but not a super high score because I don't really get hallucinations.

I see well it's hard to assess oneself imo....plus there are so many things that fall in between like bipolar with psychotic features or schizoaffective....are you seeing a pdoc or a primary care doc?

It all started when Kori challenged us to finish roll call in five minute when there were like 100 posts left......

Just a primary care doc. He put in a reference for me to see a psychiatrist but I haven't heard back for an appointment with that yet so it's just my regular doctor right now.

So I don't know what to tell him. On an antipsychotic some of my 'delusions' went away but my emotions went flat and I went into depression. On an antidepressant I went into hypomania. On a mood stabilizer I went deeper into depression and I had to stop taking it.

I'm unmedicated right now and going back and forth between being depressed and hypomanic and all the while having these 'delusions'.

I guess just tell him that. I should write something down. I have a bad habit of forgetting to mention things. I should go prepared. Tell him I took online tests and my mood has been up and down and what all my 'delusions' are...

That guy said he wished he would have slept with me that day. I told him the only reason i wanted to was to see if we would work out on all levels.

Cog, how many antipsychotics have you tried? Do you have insurance that would let you try Abilify, Latda or Geodon? After Risperdal I was put on Geodon and all my emotions came flooding back.

What mood stabilizer did you try? I hear Lithium can cause anhedonia too. I'm not sure about Lamictal. It acts as a mild antidepressant at 100-150 mgs. But it takes a long time to slowly titrate up to that for health precautions. Maybe you could try a mood stabilizer along side an ssri/snri. I did that for awhile and I was back to stable.

I'm sorry you're going through all this. ((hugs))
Thanks for this!

I've only tried... two antipsychotics. Risperidone and abilify. Risperidone made me so sleepy but I did help at the time when I was psychotic before.

The mood stabilizer was depakote and it was awful.

Maybe I will mention about the whole SSRI + something else. Would SSRI + antipsychotic work together?

And thank you for caring. I really appreciate it.
