I enjoy the mysteries of life too, my friend. Too many philosophers are ridgedly dogmatic about something they can't be certain about if they are honest with themselves. The true philosopher has a sense of wonder and awe about the world, and that's the first stage towards enlightenment.

I'm seeing a ton of companies investing in VR now. All the major tech companies are taking it seriously. Who needs a pc when you've got the XBOX One. I would load up Skyrim and hibernate for the winter.

Appreciation of what type of beauty? Are you a romantic or a classicist type of observer of beauty? Both types of beauty are strikingly different. The classic beauty is noble, natural, restrained, harrmonic like Greek art. Romantic Beauty is dangerous, filled with pent up emotion, and raw.

I was a romantic, full of awe and wonder. Their creed "Feeling is all!" is nostalgia to me now. Curiously, i took the myers brigg personality test during my psychosis and my score was a intf, the rarest one. I looked up other intf's and they thought Goethe would have been one, my favorite author. He's the priest of the romantic movement.

It's better to not know. The world is the way it is because of this.

Some people may also believe too. It's just how things are. We're all different.

If something bad were to be deleted like what we see on the news, nothing would exist. Everything has to exist. And what we share in common (Whether or not I'm the only person that is real and everyone else isn't), is the proof of existence.

But sometimes I get really down because of it. I could list a bunch of bad things in a trigger but we all know what these bad things are.

Even though a mystery doesn't want to keep me going, the fact that the mystery exists does.
As a kid i once took apart a magic trick and started building one of my own. Half way thru i broke it all and threw it away. I told my mother I'd ruined it by understanding it.
I always thought this meant i conceptualized a god as a kid. I don't believe in anything now.
I'm not sure if this relates to what you're getting at, but it reminded me of it.

I decided to risk it all and get one last Blizzard from Dairy Queen before I’m off gluten (Oreo is the only Blizzard that matters okay). I bought these new pills for lactose intolerance and they worked so well! I might have to risk a milkshake one day now...
Thanks for this!

Take care of yourself. Nothing is worth that short term feeling you’ll get by self harming.

Yeah, we have Dairy Queen. The closest one to me is just the cake/ice cream shop that closes in the winter but there’s one closer to downtown that has the burgers and stuff too.

Canada has a lot of American chains

I just wondered because a lot of the chains they have in the south they dont have in the north. I mean in the usa, southern chains vs northern chains.

Off the top of my head I know there’s Popeyes, and Sonic that have some locations in Canada but mostly in Ontario (don’t have any where I live). I’ve heard of In and Out and White Castle but it doesn’t look like there are any in Canada.

Basically where I live there’s KFC, Dairy Queen, Burger King, Taco Bell, McDonalds, Starbucks, Five Guys, Subway, Quiznos, Pita Pit, Freshii, Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa Murphy’s, Little Caesar’s, Papa John’s, IHOP, Denny’s, Perkins, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and A&W.

All I can think of off the top of my head for American chain food places. Minor differences for Canada. Ie A&W we love the Burger Family (Teen Burger to Grandpa Burger) and I hear in the US they don’t do that anymore.

We got our own chains like Booster Juice, Thai Express, Jugo Juice, Tim Hortons, Pizza Pizza, Joeys Only Seafood, Montana’s, KimChi, Original Joe’s, Moxie’s, New York Fries, Smoke’s Poutinere, and... that’s all I can think off the top of my head that are national chains.
Thanks for this!

@cogladaid we have some Tim Horton's now in some places in the US now, but I'm not sure it's too popular.
There's one in my city, but it's kinda overpriced and doesn't have much. (in my opinion)
Its certainly no worse than Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts, but i wouldn't buy food or drink there normally either.

Hahaha we call it Tim’s or The ‘Orton’s lol.

But yes, it was bought out by Burger King a couple years ago.

Personally I don’t like their coffee or most of their food but I like their donuts and breakfast food.

Everyone here seems to be crazy for Tim’s. I live at one end of the city near the edge and if I head to downtown I pass by eight Tim Horton’s it’s a bit ridiculous. I wish it was Starbucks instead honestly lol.
