Good morning/afternoon.

Went to my psychiatrist today. Told him I really can't stand the sedation and drowsiness from Olanzapine. Even though I was only on 5 mg, it turned me into a depressive zombie. Back on Abilify now after so many years. We start with 10 mg. It was making me suicidal before but maybe it's different this time because I will take it with anti-depressant. I'm still feeling lethargic, unmotivated, and it's been few days that I got headache due to depression.

Did you just get your flu shot the other day? Because the flu shot can cause you to have short term flu like symptoms as a reaction. Like a tetanus shot as well can cause flu like symptoms days after you get the shot.

I realize that. I usually get sick after i get my flu shot but i got it 2 weeks ago

Just realized that I got my 2 years badge yesterday apparently. I joined PC on Oct 26th 2015. Met my current bf the next day in the chat room. Started posting here on Roll Call in less than a week after that I think. Anyway, just want to say thank you for accepting me here. Thank you for the support, advice, hugs, the laugh, and the stories that we have shared. You guys make me believe that there is still kindness in this world.

12AM, I hope the abilify works better for you! I agree too that this is a wonderful support community.

I'm okay today. Looking at upgrading my computer. Turns out that my current parts are in pretty high demand and sell for as much as new parts. So I can sell my current parts and build a new computer without spending much money at all. I can work with this.

You know I started on Risperdal which worked but had side effects so I just cross tapered, my symptoms were already under control but they stayed under and I just felt much better on abilify----its kinda a high energy med in the beginning. But for risperidone I was noticing effects within days and had lost all symptoms in months. Abilify should be the same because its actually a partial agonist at D2----I believe the strongest D2 binder but that's because it partially activates.

Sorry no simple answers, haha....

I feel good. We were switching the doors on a fridge/freezer to open the other way without instructions and I was the one who figured the top of the fridge came off to do it.

So, I’m choosing not to drink at our birthday meal tonight. I’d like to but it’s too soon since I stopped. The good news is by the end of today, I’ll have been sober for a whole week.

I can definitely feel some improvement on my mood being away from alcohol. Things aren’t perfect but still. I’m still unsure about college but things are slowly moving in the right direction regardless of that.

I think I’ll probably not drink any alcohol now until Christmas. That’ll give me a good couple of months sobriety to get a better relationship with alcohol.

Yeah I did thanks. I would definitely do it again. The staff at the place we stayed in were really good. We tipped them a lot throughout the holiday as they definitely deserved it.
