Do you know the other med options? I've been going through the ringer trying the best one that suits me but its difficult still. My doc thinks it's dopamine that is causing slight mania. It was a realization when I found out how many of us here are having sleep issues.

So the options are antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and then the stuff which builds tolerance like a long half life with a benzo (I take Restoril). I take Benadryl all the time because nothing seems to work. The most common med is Seroquel because its so potent an works on two fronts: 1) it decrease dopamine 2) it is a central nervous system depressant.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Sleep depravation torture is what they should call it.

Strangely enough I have regular insurance through my husband’s work. They use Beacon health for mental services and after every hospitalization they contacted me and offered their services.
At the time I was too paranoid to accept help from an outsider but after a while I wished I had accepted because it seems like a great source of support when navigating MI and insurance issues/coverages

Fiances dad just passed. He died during emergency open heart surgery just now because there was complications.

Seroquel is great for sleep. I take 600mg and sleep fantastic. I have strange dreams though, really realistic. Last night was a nuclear war

Life dealt us a **** hand. It's not our fault our health has put a cap on our real potential in certain areas of our life. But really, how can we enjoy the sweetness of life without the bitter? The downs helps to make the ups just so much better. What's sad to me is when celebrity's children--who have been given everything we could only dream of--but they resort to drugs and alcohol and dwell on a hole inside themselves. In my experience, lifetime winners aren't up to the task many times because they don't have something dark like depression, guilt, shame, or fear to prod them on to better themselves. I'm sure they have some of these negative experiences but hardly nothing profoundly life altering like we experience day in day out. We are forced to stare into the abyss and forced to understand it, to shed light on it, and we are here trying to work on it. We may never be cured but there's dignity in conquering freedom each day, and supporting those like me when we're own with a hug or thanks or advice, which makes us better prepared to see problems in other so we can help them in ways others can't.

Just last night dustin had broken up with me. He left in his car and came back and said he had been crying the whole time. We talked for awhile. We are trying to do better. We are trying to make it, you know.

I might get a therapist. Idk. I dont have the money for it tho.

Paranoid tonight, had some panic about going inpatient earlier but I feel a bit better now. I really hope the Vraylar isn't stopping working and this'll pass.

I got that interview tomorrow and I couldn't be less ready.

My friend's new bestest spent a lot of time calling the nursing home and convincing them I need my retinas looked at asap. Thanks to her. She's a better person than me by far. I'm really grateful to her, but I really am a big nothing compared to her. She has been really nice to me, but she was attracted to him initially and he told her that we're together. I don't know about that really.

Well I'm not taking Vyvanse at night ever again or I become a angry psychopath.

I took a benzo, 10mg melatonin and 50mg Seroquel so I'm gonna go to sleep and wake up at 7am, then take a vyvanse.

After that I'm going to try and motivate myself. Maybe go for a small hike or a run, drink some coffee. I don't know how I'm going to do it in this state. I'm completely lost in what I should do in life.

I can't stimulate myself mentally. I just want to do nothing. Fck negative symptoms, really. I'm not depressed right now just blaaahh.

I don't have any energy. That's the problem.

Fiance has to go with his family to prepare a bunch of stuff. He took off work. My dad gave him some advice. Said if he gets FMLA sheet he will get paid for being off.

I have to goto that job interview today.
