Probably, I don't really want to though. I'll just have my sister pick up ice cream or something for next week.

Looking at cosmetic bags/organizers on Amazon. Will likely need to get one at some point for my makeup.

Upset.

My mom texted offering to help pay some of my bills and then she backs out. I already screenshot my accounts to her. Very very upset about this.

That's why I refuse to ask anyone for money or let someone offer me some money because they then can say "you'd never made it without me" and rub it in your face and the way you've talked about your mother she's the type that would say that. Being on disability is there way you can get financial help from programs like Pipp?

I was going to visit a woman that used to work where I used to work. She hated my ex step dad. She has stage 4 lung cancer and won't live long. My mom walked down to see her but I couldn't because my sister has the keys for the house and people could break in and take my computer.

I want to see her and she would like to visit me and I could have carried my computer with me but I guess it's not meant to be. My mom can see her to see what could happen to her and just talk for the last time.

That woman is really tough though and isn't afraid of death which is good. It still makes me sad though.

Life makes me depressed sometimes.

Idk if the program is only Ohio but depending on your income they calculate a percentage you can pay And you only have to pay so much depending on your income. They go by percentage I believe. Look it up Texas May have something similar

I got my new shoes! They're so comfortable. My sister is going to drop off ice cream when she drops off my crock-pot during the week

I'm looking up crock-pot recipes, there's so much you can do with them, even desserts!

The best things in a crockpot are things you’d normally cook low and slow like pot roasts, pulled pork shoulder etc.

Finished 2 sections for my book and I'm looking at the order of my chapters and it just doesn't look right. I have to reorder some of this stuff, or maybe make a brief introduction, and then revisit each subject in detail. I think that latter is what I should do now that I think about it.

My sister and I talked for awhile. She noted my uncle pestering me on facebook with his political views. He really went all in with Trump, he even calls people childish names like Trump. It's weird that I have an uncle that behaves this way. He brings up conspiracy theories so I tell him I will only entertain them if his links comes from reputable news sources.

Anyway, I made some progress on my book so I'll eat my dinner and watch a show, and do a little more for the introduction then all asleep, then repeat the week over ad infinitum. Part of me wishes I had the strength to say **** work and collect unemployment as long as possible by saying no to my boss but his business would collapse, though I would make thousands more. This whole situation really shows how ****ed up our pay is. People working are getting paid less than those collecting unemployment--but I really look at it like this: I was fortunate to have that vacation with paid benefits. I will take another month off this winter I think and finish another book.

But honestly, this winter might be the most difficult winter ever. I might lose my job! No one is going to want me in their homes to paint. Sure people want to pay amazon and Netflix, but other than enjoying things in the leisure of their home, I I don't think people are going to open their pocketbooks for much else. This summer and full might be good due to exteriors, but, unless we find new construction, I think we're going to be screwed. Then again, if I have to collect unemployment again for a bit of time, that might not be so bad. I talked to my boss and he didn't want to entertain the possibility of a barren winter.

Just FYI you can’t say no to work while on unemployment you have to take whatever you’re offered. My dad routinely used unemployment between work because he was a millwright and work was spotty.

I don’t think you can....it’s somewhat dependent on your previous employer paying into the unemployment system...but all the rules have been changed for covid so idk for sure.

Eh, I'm better off on disability right now anyways. I'd be ****ed if I wasn't on it. Problem with disability is that you cannot save or get ahead while on it. They expect people on disability to live off of ****ing 800 dollars a month. Well below poverty level and it's ********. I can't have more than 2000 dollars in the bank at a time and I'm not stashing money in the house where we can get robbed and ****.

Luckily I’m on ssdi and not only can I have money saved but I can own many assets...cars, houses, etc. I also can have book royalties or any royalties made from my work.

And before anyone says anything...it’s true, I can. I’m not on ssi, I’m on ssdi, under my dad ssn because I was disabled before 22 and I’m literally under the “disabled before 22” ruling of ssdi, specifically. So it’s considered retirement for me.

I actually literally have back problems from googling the hell out of this.
