What I do for hiccups is take a teaspoon of sugar and drop it in the back of my throat and swallow it quickly. It has worked every time. But other things work for other people.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind if they come back, I was just able to get them to stop after holding my breath for 20 seconds

I had a really nice nap from 4pm-7:30pm. I think it's because of the CBD. The Vyvanse wore off so I'm very unfocused.

I went to the coffee connections today from 2pm-3pm and talked with people in town.

Right now would be a really nice time to take 5-10mg of Dexedrine IR.

I am feeling very sluggish today. I think it is because of the 10 mg olanzapine. It has also caused weight gain, which I dislike. I am also on Xanax XR, which might be responsible for some of the sluggishness as well. I wish I could find a good med combination. This is so frustrating because every time I go down on olanzapine, I have sort of a crisis. And every time we go back up on it, it seems like I feel extremely sluggish. Isn't there a middle ground?

I think I’m gonna try to exercise more because it helps my energy level. But I’m really addicted to this VR exercise thingy. It’s actually just a music rhythm game called Beat Saber and you use lightsabers to smash the blocks coming at you. I’ve been playing the Linkin Park songs recently.

I also have a boxing game where you box. It’s called Creed. It’s a game based off the movie, so you go through a career, boxing people and moving up in your career.

Having that same issue with vraylar kinda. On 1.5mg I have energy but more psychosis symptoms. And at 3mg I am sleeping all day. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground sometimes with AP’s. I’m gonna have to switch AP’s probably.

Have you tried modafinil? It's a wakefulness promoting agent for narcolepsy.

10mg of olanzepine has been a lifesaver for me so I don't mind if I gain a small bit of weight.

I'm on Vyvanse which helps a lot with the sedation. Stimulants don't ever give me psychosis but they do in like 90% of people with schizophrenia which is why I think something like modafinil would help you.

Well, I guess I am just confused because my psychiatrist seems to think that I need to be on the lowest possible combination of meds. Which is fine in principle, but when he starts messing with things, I get anxious and angry with him. It seems to me like he wants me at 5 mg olanzapine maximum, whereas, I feel good on 10 mg. And then he wants me to go down on Abilify. Which is ridiculous because I just had a crisis, and now he's wanting me to go down on my meds. I don't get it with this pdoc. And he's always super pushy with the Xanax, which I understand because it can be addictive and stuff, but it's like he's not giving me proper guidance.

Thanks for the suggestion of the modafinil, by the way. I've been on armodafinil before, and it seemed to help.

My psychiatrist put me on max dose of the Invega injection + 10mg of olanzepine 2.5 years ago but I wanted to be on the lowest amount of antipsychotics possible.

So we kind of have the opposite issue of each others pdocs. I realize now that I actually need to be on a higher dose of antipsychotics after lowering my Invega injection, going psychotic and then going back on it again.

Higher doses are better for cognition than psychosis.

I agree with the last sentence. Yeah, I guess I just need to convince him that it's fine how it is now. I mean in his own words, he says we shouldn't make too many changes. And he also says we should stay on one combination for a while before making changes. Yet he wants to make these changes again. Maybe I'm misperceiving what he's saying. But I think he is always anxious to make a change.

I've always understood that Abilify is good for my mood and olanzapine is good for my psychosis. Any other combination than that has seemed to mess things up. I thought my pdoc understood this, but he seems to have forgotten or something. I just have to remind him, I guess.

the highest dosage was when I was at 675mg a day for clozapine... They notice my levels were high and right now I'm at 600mg a day. They may lower it idk depends on my blood work.

my levels were high on 400mg, so I went down to 300mg, then the inpatient doc took me off it and on a low dose of seroquel. Then my outpatient doc put me on risperdal
