Can’t fall asleep right now , too excited and nervous about tomorrow.

Talked on the phone for a couple hours tonight with my bf. Was nice. We talk a few hours every evening on weekdays and on weekends we talk more. Miss spending time with him in person from when we first dated when I lived down there a long time ago. Will be nice to start saving money towards a plane ticket for him to visit. We’re both contributing towards the ticket.

Watched the first Stephen king IT movie (of the newer movies) going to watch It chapter 2 tomorrow. I would have been terrified if I watched those movies as a little kid. Clowns are already creepy to begin with.

Oh yeah almost forgot. Got two idk if vintage is the right word but two older cameras one is from the 90’s and one is from the early 2000’s. I got them for free today. They’re both SLR cameras. So they’re not digital like my Nikon. Meaning they need actual rolls of film in them. I plan on getting film for them and trying them out. I think it will be fun and good to try out older style camera for the experience and they might give like a certain vibe/style to photographs that newer cameras lack. They have decent lenses on them. One is a macro lense which I’m interested to try out. Obviously my Nikon will be the main one I use for photography because it’s newer and a digital slr which I’m a tad more familiar with but I am going to have fun experimenting with the older cameras too.

Here are my cameras. The first one I got several months ago (the Nikon) the two next to that are the SLRs I got today. And the single lense sitting in the background I’m not sure what to do with yet but I will find a use for it

Oh wow! I just did some research on the Praktica camera model I have , it was actually produced in the 1970’s so way older than I thought. Imagine what kind of journeys this camera has been on in 50 years

Doctor appointment went well. Told my doctor what was going on.

Don’t have all my lab results back. Don’t have the psychiatrist report.

But he put me on an antidepressant for depression so we’ll see how that goes.

A psychologist got back to me about putting me on a wait list and I’m trying to call them but no one is answering so I left a message.

Hopefully they call me back soon.

Volunteer job went well today. There were only 5 cats there today so there wasn’t a huge amount of work to do.

Home now. Gonna eat lunch later then get ready for the interview. I definitely need to change. The volunteer job at petsmart is messy. A lot of times you have to kneel on the floor to clean out cages and sometimes litter gets on there or their water dishes spill and it makes a mess on the floor. We clean the floor up when we’re finished of course. But yeah I don’t want to wear jeans I kneeled in cat litter in to an interview lol I’m wearing a pair of dress pants and a long sleeved shirt with a cardigan.

I hate waiting, I’m the most impatient person when it comes to waiting for things like this. Interviews, appointments, phone calls. Etc. I hate waiting , I like getting things done early in the day. 2 1/2 more hours to go

Omg same. I like to have appointments in the morning so I’m not fretting all day.

Tomorrow I have a doctors appointment at 145pm and I’m going to be thinking about it all day.

On Sunday my dietician appointment is 230pm and I’ll be waiting alll day.

Yeah it’s so annoying. Because I can’t focus on anything else. Most people I feel would be like yay I don’t have to go till later but not me, I can’t focus on anything until it’s done , not even like watching a show or anything. I just watch the clock lol

So I have a question for those of you who have experience with job interviews. Do they call you back or do they tell you immediately during/after the interview whether or not your hired

I have no experience with this because this will be my first actual job. The only other thing I did was a temp job in a factory for a couple weeks but they didn’t even do an interview.

My first retail job they told me right there they would hire me. But my last two jobs in white collar settings they called me a couple days later. I guess it depends on the industry. I wouldn’t be surprised if they told you then and there.

I hope the fact that they’re urgently hiring works in my favor. Interviews seem intimidating but I’m sure it’s not extremely scary I mean it’s Burger King. They called me the morning after I put my application in (I put it in the night before) so they seem kind of really in need of employees right now.

I don’t see why they wouldn’t hire you. Especially if they really need workers. They would probably take you on at a probational period (typically 3 months).

What sucks is if I have an appointment in the morning I get it over with and don’t worry all day waiting for it. But then I lose motivation and can’t focus on work afterwards.

But it works the other way that if I have the appointment in the afternoon I don’t get any work done all day because I’m worried about my appointment.

It’s basically just a wasted work day either way.

Time is crawling by at an insanely slow pace

I love guided imagery.. I had such crazy dreams last night.. I was falling from space - to Earth.. People were using grenade launchers on neighbourhoods (They were clear like a video game) - Big war.. And lying in the grass, staring at the sky etc.. So much stuff I forget.

The other night, I was at a dinner - And everything was so clear (Like in real life - The food, outline of the inside of the building, forks, etc), I told someone "Yeah I'd really like to visit South Africa, see the animals and stuff" (But very important: I could see my imagination just like if I were awake, but I was also seeing the dream and the person I was talking to as well, walking to the table..)

Just madness.. I tried guided imagery before, and it is relaxing..

The interview went well I felt for my first interview ever. They said I would hear back by Thursday on whether they’re hiring me

I asked them the pay rate, whether the schedules would be set or vary, and how soon I can start if they hire me

Good luck, I hope you'll get it, if not, there are scads of other places to try. You'll have a job very soon. I think they might need you on a schedule that clashes with PetSmart. (Why they didn't hire you on the spot.)
