One of my former T's made me write out a list of 5 things I would try first when I wanted to. The agreement was that if I gave one a fair try and it didn't work, I would go on to the next one. If I got through all 5 without quashing the urge, THEN I had permission.

Usually something on the list worked and I got through it. Maybe you could try something like that?

((((((((Lily))))))) I'm sorry it's so overwhelming right now.

Love, Candy

Thank You Candybear

I actually do like that idea. I haven't done anything so far, but I will have to remember that for any future happenings.

It's just these repetitive thoughts and I can't get it out of my head and I wish my head would just drop it already. That coupled with the feeling of nothingness, feeling that I'm just a body or a thing, not a person.

GRRRRR and the visualizations in my mind. Not helping right now.

I wish I could get to sleep.

I do the same thing usually (as the list) and also have time added into it. Like first I will listen to music for 15 min, if that doesn't help some take a shower for at least 15 min, if that doesn't work watch tv for at least a half hour to an hour, if that doesn't work I can squeeze an ice cube, if that doesn't ease me I have to call one of my friends and talk for at least a half hour with them, if that doesn't work ... I try to come up with more requirments.

Hope that gives you some ideas.

(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))

Hang in there
