Well I guess I should make a forum post topic about this subject too...since it's come up as of late. I used to cut alot, or rater, one of my alters named Lee did. She put 45 cuts on me.... well, for about 2 - 3 months there had been no cutting....until a few days ago. I've been really stressed lately, and really depressed...or well, not me in specific...but another part of me. So lee cut. The cutting made alot of the stresss and tension go away, but now I regret it. If I show this to my father he'll just tell me how I'm " So much better then my mother " And how " I'm not stupid enough to do such a thing ". I want to show the cuts to the school, but Im afraid that they would send me to an institution. I've been trying for a few weeks now to see a doctor and or therapist about my issues....which, I have alot of. Severe depression and a few dissociative disorder...but nothings happened as of yet. I keep waiting for a phone call for an appointment...but there isnt any. I'm getting anxious and don't know how much longer I can hold out without one...I have to wait for my father to get me an appointment - _ - My question is...should I show the cuts or not ?...And what would they do when they find out ? I want help....

Reasons I cut :

For attention -
A cry for help -
Because I like the pain -

Anybody have any suggestions....or any similar experiences they'd like to share ? My cuts and Lee.

Can you find a hotline to call and speak with someone to sort this out? It would be a good thing to try. As for the cutting. Unless you feel like you will hurt yourself severely, don't show, just ask for the help you need from school and from hotline and mental health. I am sorry for your pain.
