Hi, new to the forums.

I have several fetishes but only one is dangerous.

I like to put on lots of motorcycle gear to perform crashes and stunts that will result in crashing on purpose.
I involve no one else in this fetish and only perform it in secluded spots NOT on the public highway.

I'm 37 and have been doing this for over 10 years.

By lots of gear I really do mean lots. The list of equipment I wear is as follows:
Padded shorts
Full body armour ( hard padding to shoulders, chest, spine, upper arms, elbows, fore arms, thighs, knees, shins and ankles)
Groin/abdo protector
Full motorcycle leathers
Gum shield
Full face motorcycle helmet
Wrist guards
Thick padded and armoured leather motorcycle gloves.

I put all this on about 3-4 times a year and go out for a crash session.
I don't use a motorbike only a pushbike! I do thus for various reasons, cost, noise and risk. Max speeds I do and I'm happy with are about 30mph.
I get up to speed and jump off or lay the bike on its side and slide along the concrete or tarmac.

I've tried to stop in the past but I'm grumpy and miserable, eventually I become overwhelmed and have to go out again.

I am a bike rider. So beside a helmet you put on all the extra gear to ride. I must say even pro cyclist race at that speed without body armour. You must be very fit to do this on a bike! By the way, what road bike do you have and how many miles do you ride like this? Lol

Hi, no not even close to fit! The spots I use benefit from having pretty steep hills hence why I can achieve 30mph.

Any cheap secondhand mountain bike does me as they doe last long !!!
Not very far, as you've pointed out it's a lot of gear and as you suspected things get pretty hot, fast. I usually go out in winter months for that reason. Just above freezing is best for me.

I wear body armour not because of the speed, but because of the certainty of crashing and also because being protected is the thrill for me! Pro cyclists don't wear motorcycle leathers either but I couldn't even consider doing it without.

after several months of not going out, I can feel myself getting wound up. Can not wait for some colder dry weather so I can go out for a crash session.

Depends what you enjoy! Each to their own. If pantys are your thing then enjoy.

I see you are in the UK. here in america we have a career where people who enjoy crashing and such like you have posted become stunt persons for movies, tv.

maybe you can audition for the UK version of this. (become a stunt person for movies and tv) this way you will not only have your fetish but also get paid to do it.

I have considered it but for various reasons it wouldn't suit me.

1: I'm quite embarrassed about having this fetish and have no real desire to do it in front of others (except my partner).
2: stuntmen and women are required to do more than just 1 type of stunt and I only want to do bike crashes.
3: they are often required to do stunts using minimal protection and in some cases can't even wear a helmet! This is a risk I'm NOT prepared to take. My fetish is to do dangerous stunts whilst wearing equipment to save me from injury.
Thanks for this!

My urges to do this got too much again. Tonight I put on most of my gear, put a bike in the car and drove to one of my secluded spots for a crash session.
I parked up, got the bike out ready and then put on the last few bits of equipment ( helmet, gum shield, wrist guards and gloves.
Sitting on the bike, looking down the steep tarmac hill. I psyched myself up. I slammed my visor shut and set off. I pedalled fairly fast then dropped the bike on its side. I skidded along the ground with my foot and leg pinned under the bike. My shoulder, hip, leg and arm all dragged across the rough tarmac. Once I stopped, I pulled myself from under the bike. Opened the visor and checked myself and the gear over. I was unhurt and even though my leathers had taken a beating they were surprisingly only scuffed a little. I picked up the bike and pushed it back up the hill. At the top I got on it again. I set off once more this time I pedalled furiously, the wind rush through my helmet as I quickly pick up speed. I shut the visor. As I continued to peddle I approached the first bend on the hill. I stood up on the pedals and got my leg over the cross bar. I took a deep breath and jumped from the bike. My feet touched the ground and instantly were pulled from under me. I slammed into the ground. My shoulder hit hard, followed by my head. I slid along the ground in my front. The leathers and gloves heated up as they dragged along the ground. Suddenly I started to turn sideways and I was barrel rolling down the hill at an alarming rate. With each roll my shoulders, arms, chest, back and knees took an impact. Several times my helmet hit the ground hard. I slid off the road at the bend and came to a halt after sliding the last 10 feet through the brambles and nettles that made up the roadside. I got myself up and walked out of the undergrowth. I walked back up the road and collected my bike. Much as I wanted another run I decided against it as my helmet had took a lot of impacts and I hadn't brought a spare. I was sweating profusely inside my leathers ( I usually go out when temps are near freezing for this reason), I opened them up and my body armour too cool down while I removed my helmet and gloves. I loaded the car and headed home.
Now I'm home and the adrenaline has settled I feel calm and stress free!! Something I haven't for a few months now. I know how this will work now. I'll be fine for a couple of weeks, then I'll start thinking about it again and within a couple of months I'll be buying a new helmet and going out again. Hopefully it'll be cooler then.
I often wonder if I should stop this fetish!! but the release I get from it can't be equalled from anything else I've tried. For the time being the benefits far outweigh the risks.

I was wrong only 2 days after I last went out and I'm already thinking about going out again!!! Probably doesn't help that it was the first time out since March but normally I get a few weeks relief.
I'm worried that this fetish is becoming an obsession! Thoughts of doing bigger stunts are creeping in because greater risk requires more protection.
I've only got a couple of items left I could wear, namely a neck brace and hard body armour over my leathers. The worry of me having these would be realising my ultimate fantasy of flying head first over the handle bars. I'm fairly confident I'd be safe doing it but if I'm wrong breaking my neck is a very real prospect.
I know I should stop but can't.

Well it's my birthday tomorrow so I've treated myself. Ordered a full motocross neck brace, some hard body armour and a new helmet. Hopefully it will be here tomorrow so I can try it all on. Possibly go out over the weekend to try it out properly.
Unless I can convince my O/H to come out with me I won't try going over the bars, but I know the temptation will be there.

Should I continue with this fetish?
I went out again last night. Fully geared up I performed the same type of stunts I usually do. Jumping from the bike I tumbled along the tarmac untill I stopped. I got back on it and wheelied untill I fell off backwards. Lastly I did a jump resulting in me crashing on landing. All my gear did its job well and protected me. Thankfully I walked away un injured again. The thrill I get from doing this doesn't reduce and I'm not putting anyone else at risk other than myself. The temptation to do bigger stunts is still there but luckily I'm able to stop myself for now.
Before and during these sessions I don't see anything wrong with it but afterwards, when the adrenaline has gone I wonder if I should seek help for this fetish.
Stopping is not an option at the minute!!

Best advice a stranger just stopping by could give you is...swear to yourself you won't do this again unless #1 There's someone with you
#2 That they have a drivers licence as well as a cellphone.
#3 would be that you both know where you are on a map and are able
to give accurate directions to that location if needed.

One other thing. If you insist on continuing...please look into proper neck protection. To me that's where you're most vulnerable. One **** up there and the games are over. Bluntly put but there it is.

Thanks for your reply's

As for your suggestions.

1 would love someone to come with me, but unfortunately my pertner who is the only person who knows about my fetish so far refuses to come with me.
2 she has a drivers licence and a phone.
3 knows exactly where I am and how long until I return. If I ever don't get home by allotted time she will come and find me.

This is the safest I can make it for now. Maybe one day she will accompany me.
As you pointed out my neck was lacking in protection and hopefully that is now sorted with a full neck brace.

I must look rediculous wearing all this gear but I don't mind as long as I'm safe. Highly unlikely anyone will ever see me anyway as I do it in the very early hours!

Good luck with it all...you seem pretty devoted to this stuff. In the world of fetishes/philias etc this is a new one for me...and seemingly one the Japanese haven't dreamed up! heh...Oh those Japanese...imaginative folks they are for sure!

Maybe you could coin a term for this pursuit...?
