I got out of bed. I made 3 calls re services, including calling the vocational rehab agency, telling my worker not to close my case, as the letter indicated she would. I haven't made contact because I don't know what's realistic as a work goal...In the midst of writing those preceding sentences, my rehab worker called back and, no problem, she said to get the packet of forms completed and sent to her by 2-3 weeks time. Good. Can do.

Glad to hear that, Lavie!

I went to my Book Club meeting at lunchtime, then went shopping with a friend. Now I'm getting ready to read my lessons for a class I'm taking at church.

Kudos for everyone's do rights! I did 2 loads of laundry and vacuumed the floors (only a 900 sq. ft. house). Scheduled a friend to help me create a dating site profile. Yikes! (I'd rather have a root canal or a colonoscopy)
Thanks for this!

Today is a lot of things right...Mark and I went to couples counseling, where I confronted him for his verbal abuse and mean attitude...but applauded how gentle and warm and loving his relationship is with me the rest of the time...my therapist saw through all his excuses and statements that made no sense, and established better communication between us, kept saying whatever my past was as far as this being my first relationship, does not mean I get treated bad because he has had relationships before, like his ex-wife treated him because she had had a marriage before him. We worked on the things he's dealing with his legal problems, the way that makes him feel, how hurt I am from his abuse, how he yelled as a way of getting respect, how he has heard me yell at my mother before in defense to her yelling, we worked on not getting financial contributions from him, his blaming other people for his behavior, we hugged at the end, I feel more understood by him.

Wow!! Excellent do-rights, guys!!!

Today I came into work early to continue rebuilding the data that was lost due to a software glitch. I'm not a morning person at all and I much prefer to work late rather than start early, but actually, it felt good this morning to get started on my work bright and early!!!

I love reading of the steps everyone's taking. I made calls today about a support group and a new Pdoc. I went to where a NAMI support group was supposed to be, but no one was there. I made the effort, at least. My 91 yr old aunt just called to say her great granddaughters loved the dolls I made. Now, she wants two more I don't think I have it in me right now.

Catching up: took girls to Sunday school, made lunch, did laundry, whole family did chores, played games as a family. went to work, went and saw my friend who just had a baby brushed the dog. went to work, drove carefully home, helped shovel, hung out with bf. Have come to the conclusion that I really need to work on my BPD.

Way to go everyone on your do rights.

Showered, checked email, flung balls in the yard for my dog, tried to de-stress and get focused (tried at least). I can't remember anything else about today. That's a first. An alarming first. Oh yeah, a doctor's app't and the bank.

An EMDR session with my therapist this morning actually helped! I was motivated to start preparing for a workshop I'm giving April 30. That gave me enough drive to boil and shell shrimp, and make a baked pumpkin pudding. (I've been living on frozen entrees for the past month). I also did billing for a juvenile court investigation and mailed it, vacuumed the floors and had 2 outings with my dog, throwing sticks for him in the meadows. All while still anxious and depressed. Not bad.

Well done (((((((suzzie))))))) I often cancel appointments too because I don't want to go (even if I need to) and I know how hard it is to get yourself to reschedule, so it's awesome you did that. I really hope your T session is helpful

So glad the EMDR helped!!!! (((((((((lavie)))))))))) That's fantastic!!!!

That is sooooo sweet that you watch TV with your 101 year old neighbor every night, Dee!!!

Today at the end of my dog walk I met a friend who was just arriving to walk her dogs. Instead of rushing off, which I usually do, I stayed and walked with her and we had a good chat. I haven't socialized in ages and it was good to do that!

Well done hugs to all!!

Spent the whole day in training. Went and toured a new friend's workplace then went out for dinner with said friend. Got almost everything all packed up for the trip home.

Catchup: began reading a book on BPD. went out to watch friends play darts. worked. did more psych testing (getting sick of all the testing). attempted to talk to a facilitator of group that triggered me - don't feel like she heard me (but I tried). went to girls' music concert. did some shopping. need to decide if I'm staying with my T or switching. went and picked up some food. plan on going out with a friend in a bit.

Way to go everyone.

I started organizing my "office". I still have a ways to go, but it feels good to see both the desk top and the floor under

I visited with my oldest friend, who I don't see very much. We walked with my dog through the woods and along the stream near her house. Sherman found another German Shepherd to frolic with along the way. It was good to catch up, and see her paintings from a class she took. She also deals with anxiety, depression, and ADD, and has always been a kind, supportive friend.

I joined an online group to help me get motivated to workout and eat healthy. I was on it many months ago and it helped so I decided to rejoin. I did some research, which will help me for a potential consulting engagement in April. Doing this made me feel good about being able to do a good job on the assignment. I also discovered a few helpful web sites that I might not otherwise have discovered if I hadn't done this research.

Today I finished catching up reading everyone's do rights (((everyone))). I went and got a mani/pedi with my mom. I'm doing laundry (load 4 right now). I vacuumed the kitchen and entry way. I put down some back to nature in my outside gardens and fertilized. I went by a garage sale. I tried to order my goddaughter's school pictures (turns out I'm going to have to call). I watered all my indoor plants. I'm working on not being down about not being able to secure a second child to babysit and the fact that without a second child I will not be able to make the mortgage payments on the house I've got a contract on. I have not gotten onto the parent of the child I'm already babysitting for her very nasty texts yesterday even though no one should ever talk to anyone like that no matter what. *sigh*
