Woke up 4am in rivers of sweat; dreamt of some kid being tied up and left for hours, struggling to escape, a frantic wild thing, twisting and turning against the rope in the celing. then when she was free there was a voice - a young voice - saying "where's the cat?!" and the sense that the cat was dead. the girl searched frantically through the stuffed animals looking for the cat, knowing it was surely dead. then the sense and realization that the cat was in me. and woke up in that moment.

Can't get back to sleep - feel so small. lots of pain in upper arms and shoulders. every time i move, my shoulder goes out of joint. also have a sore throat and sinus pain, was losing my voice after i got home last night from T.

thanks.... i have been talking to the system and body - which now feels like it has the flu - and reminding it that it can feel safe now, and that this time i'm here to help protect. that it can let go of the pain and suffering now, while telling me & the system all the info so we can further prevent any more such pain.

why is it that it looks so nice on "paper" and yet doesn't work that way IRL? This still haunts me, even by day. =( =(

i'm sorry these terrible nightmares are haunting you. your words on paper are true even if they look better right now than they feel to you.

you've had these before and they came and they went. this one will heal too. try to hang in there. you are not alone in this tonight. we are here. i know that doesn't mean enough, but it has to mean something. we see you, you are not invisible. we care.

I keep having these fragmented pieces of dreams where i can't tell whose good and whose not. Soooooooo confusing. I mean, i know IRL but it is like my subconscious is lost and grasping at straws, not wanting to believe.

Hi Kiya, I have very bad nightmares too. Some of them very violent. I also think a lot about them in the day. Maybe a week ago I took that sanity quiz. I scored very high in ptsd. I wonder if your and mine are symtoms of ptsd? I don't know much about it. After a bad nightmare I get up and play some 60's and 70's rock and when I feel better I go back to bed. It seems to help. Maybe tonight you will have happy dreams, that what I am sending you happy dreams, later

Going through therapy often makes you dream ... I personally think it is a way of ridding some of the memories and feelings we have .... Iwake p shouting or crying too sometimes .....

Kiya I think what you are doing is so good, writing them down ... I showmine to my t and she is really good at interpreting them .... Greg I think listening to something you love helps to ground you .... I hope you both rest well tonight ....

Love, Jinny xoxoxoxoxoxo

Kiya, I'm so sorry your're having such a hard time. I have always thought that sleeping hours and dreams were so especial that anything should break them.

Now I know this isn't true since our own minds can have a strong effect on our sleep and especially on our dreams.

This is why my advice to you is to take all measures necessary to have a nice sleep.

The usual remedies work most of the time:
- Having a hot bath

- Not having an abundant dinner

- Watching or reading something light (like a comedy, or gossip magazines) that can help you get distracted before you sleep

Those are the things that work on me most of the time, i. e., when I do them I don't have nightmares.

In another times, I also used to have a Journal and rigorously night after night y used to write in it to let all the stress in my mind to go away safely. I think I should try that again

Have sweet dreams

- Cat
