My pdoc. she's amazing. When I was IP and she happened to be on call she sat and held me while I cried for half an hour even though she had so many patients to see. Then again, if we're talking OP as well my therapist is pretty amazing too. I have very different relationships with the 2 of them.

Do you start to emotionally shut down in crowds?

If anything my emotions run higher in crowds- anxiety, worry, etc.

Do you do your dishes every day or are some in the sink at bedtime?

A lot are in the sink at bedtime actually. I'm bad at doing dishes.

Do you play a musical instrument? Or have you in the past?

I sing and (sort of) play the piano.

Do you have any pets?

No, but I had a dog once.

Do you like candles?

Love them.

What's your favorite scented candle smell? Or just favorite smell overall?

pine tree is good.

What time do you go to bed?

Right now I am loving the Bath and Body Works scented candle "Magic in the Air" I absolutely love it!

Do you feel like you're a messy person?

Yes. 100x yes.

do you enjoy your hypomanias or are they too restless and unpleasant for you?

Yes I'm messy! Why can't I straighten up for more than 2 seconds?

My sleeping is all over the place but overall I try to get to sleep by midnight.

I enjoy my hypomanias because they make me feel ecstatic!

When was the last time you were really depressed?

I actually like Moxie. For those who don't know this New England icon it tastes like the unholy lovechild of Coca-Cola and cough syrup. The old fashioned kind of cough syrup. To call it an acquired taste is putting it mildly.

What is your favorite breakfast?

I don't know. Mildly last year but I was hospitalized so maybe not that mild? My worst was probably being sui but I always think of my worst as before I was diagnosed laying in bed for days on end staring blankly into nothing.

I have to say it's the breakfast special at my favorite diner/restaurant. Eggs, French Toast and Corned Beef Hash, with a side of a small orange juice and coffee, YUM!

Are you going to be okay this Christmas?

Yes. I have my sister and kids to see in the morning which will be fun. Kids are great at Christmas. Then I am spending the rest of the day/evening with my Mum whom I love dearly. My Dad is away so we both decided it is better we don't spend the day alone. If I was going to be alone it would be tough.

Yes, I'm not depressed, but I'm rather ambivalent about Christmas. I like to work this time of year (people are nicer and it's fun being with a small group of colleagues and it's dark outside and we put up Christmas decorations and eat too much sweet junk).

Does Christmas feel like some psychotic episode to you? I've no idea what's real.

I just finished posting in depression that it's hard for mne to accept it's christmas eve- and that the only reason people are saying it is christmas is too confuse me and worry me.

It feels so fake.

Seeing the excitement of children.

What is the gift you bought this holiday season that you are most excited to give? Who is it for?

The gift I am most excited to ggive is one I made. A painting that I am giving to my girlfriend as a Christmas/birthday present.

Baking cookies. I'm doing that today.
