I love to knit, and I love to read.

Do you have a spirit guide?

It's pretty meaningless. Except my mom makes cookies.

Do you have trouble crying, even when you should?

their have been times though where i've been giving some bad news, and i've just sat their looking totally unaffected (I am, but I can't show it)

I know I didn't get to say it yesterday (was meant too, but somehow forgot), but I swear this thread is losing popularity

I think the thread kind of ebs and flows.

I hate wearing anything remotely form-fitting (even back when I hadn't gained the psych med weight), dresses, anything with a v-neck, anything remotely revealing....

Are you sensitive to music played in stores?

Stinging insects. Stepping into a wasp nest at 5 years old will do that to you.

Do you think you've ever (consciously or unconsciously) limited yourself in what you wanted to achieve in life because of your illness?

outch

that's gotta hurt
and i'm actually alergic to both be and wasp stings (so keep me far away!)

to answer your question, probably at 1 stage or another

1 thing I am deffenetly guilty of is blaming a lot of stuff on my illnesses (and that includes missing experiences)

apart from bipolar, how many other mental illness do you have?

2 1/2. (PTSD, GAD and sort-of OCD (pure O I think it's called).

When you were diagnosed with bipolar did you feel it was an accurate diagnosis?

I am sitting here amazed

this thread actually remained on page 1 of the forum for a whole night.

yes, I am sitting here absolutely amazed.

anyway, when I was diagnosed, I was just glad to be diagnosed with something (like a name was put to it), but I didn't know too much about how it worked at the time

certainly a lot to adjust too

do you like hot chocolate?

Yes. Although I do skip lunch regularly but breakfast and dinner are healthy and I rarely snack. This does help my mental and physical health.

Do you think the ecstatic, euphoric highs of mania are worth the crash afterwards?

Only if you are my 6 and 3 year old nieces who have an odd love for 2 songs I've been singing them since they were babies. If you have actual taste, no.

Do you ever have disagreements with your therapist?

hahaha what songs?

(and it depends what you mean by taste!). diffrent to diffrent people.

not disagreements, only really 1 when an old therapist I was with said something totally uncalled for during a distressing time and I got all in her face about it (I don't see her now though!)

do you enjoy watching the lion king

One's about ducks and one's about a frog. Goofy songs from my camp counselor days. But they love them.

I love the lion king. I haven't seen it in a long time. i'll have to try to find it soon. When my much-younger brother was born and had a stroke I watched it over and over during the scary days.

Are you able to make suggestions about meds to your pdoc or do they discourage that?

I just got lent the lion king 2 on dvd.

never seen it before and I look forward to seeing it!

(it is now lying on my desk waiting for me to watch at some stage this week).
and camp songs... I know a few

the bumble bee song was 1 we did a lot- I caught a little baby bumble bee, won't my mummy be proud of me, I caught a little baby bumble bee, oh, dam, it stung me (yes, that's what we used to sing!). it had many verses too it

oh you'll never get to heaven as well, and the quarter masters stores (oh the memories, not all of them good!)

that quarter masters store song used to be horrible. I hated it
I don't know.

I have never tried to make med suggestions, so not sure how they would feel about it. (I don't really feel it's my place)

are their any animals you don't like for what ever reason
