Positive Things I've done today #5

Rested all day yesterday and doing the same today. My body has crashed (Fibromyaligia and Chronic Fatigue) after weeks of hypomanic activity. I need the rest. My brain is still racing with ideas of things to do but I must listen to my body so it can heal.

Finished two loads of laundry and made dinner.

Cleaned out the linen closet and took out 4 boxes and 5 bags full of stuff to go the thrift

A pretty productive day!!!

Got up, showered, came to work. First Monday I've made it in a month. Between bronchitis and depression last week, it just didn't happen, but feeling better now.

had fruit for breakfast.

(out of oranges, so had a fruit selection)

gave the 2 lion king dvds back to the person who lent me them

didn't harm myself

fixed a cable so it didn't run the risk of starting a fire

I did a load of laundry. I also took my daughter to the allergist. I also called my pdoc's nurse about some side effects I was having. Pdoc changed my dosages of two meds.

I wrote three poems and put away dishes. There's still more I need to put away but I'll be making dinner soon.

Drove to university to pick up a book I had ordered and did some study despite feeling extremely fatigued.

Got up, showered, came to work and stayed positive for the most part. Making taco salad for supper tonight

Went to PT
Replace the temporary crown in my mouth with a permanent one
Wrote two poems
Will be making dinner shortly

Picked up Geodon. it is wrong dosage because I forgot to specify when I asked for a refill yesterday, but still - made a trip to the pharmacy as planned. Tomorrow will have to go again for the correct dosage. I still picked up the wrong dosage though, because I can use more pills at once. That probably wasn't economical - I could pay the same copay for more - but I am so thankful to the only thing that helps without side effects that I have decided that I will pick up what they dispensed.

Also, realized that I would be late for a support group for alumni of my IOP and decided not to go. Avoided avoidable stress. Will go on Thursday but will plan more carefully in order to be on time.

Worked productively (for a change, I could focus on work).

Got up at 5:30, went to the gym for the first time, went to work

Woke up at a decent hour (6.30am), booked in for my teeth to start getting fixed. Going to do some more cleaning today (started last night). I feel motivated again !

Paid all my bills!

Went to Ash Wednesday service and sang in the choir.

- paid rent+utilities
- submitted a draft for review at work
- made a phone call after a period of procrastination
- walked more than 10K steps
- continued writing a story
- drank lots of fluids
- 30 mins of coloring
- correctly realized that I was too tired to do more, so did not cook and did not grocery shop, postponing it till tomorrow. correctly realized that this means that I would not have time for a support group tomorrow, and plan to go next week instead

saw 4 clients today. drove 101 miles, did load of laundry, and folded them and put away.

Got up at 5:30 and went to gym again, showered and came to work

went out early and got blood test done and stopped at the pharmacy.
decided to get something over the counter because the prescription cost $150. so I saved money.
did a load of laundry

Went to the gym. (Third week?). Got rid of a migraine with meds, food and a nap.

Emptied out the dishwasher
