I've missed you and your wise advice. I'm sorry you are having such a tough time. Yes, some people you have to almost fanatically limit exposure to. I hope your meds get straightened out and that you feel better soon. Thinking of you.

Yes, staying away from toxic people and situations helps quite a bit.

Finished my other homework assignment. Worked on a few pictures. Took a shower and picked up the rest of my meds. Put away dishes. Bought a few things from the store. Was anxious off and on but got through it by staying busy. Now taking a break before making dinner. I'm still a bit jumpy but I'm also starting to calm down.

Thank you, Jennifer.
I miss you and our mutual friends when I am not active here. I do think of people while I am "away."

I am glad you were able to help your daughter as she was choking!
How soon do you leave for Florida?

Thanks, Jacky!

As for family, both sides are dysfunctional.
I was shocked with behavior that should not shock me. I should know better by now. I had stayed away from a few for approx. 10 years; hence, the shock because I had forgotten how it can be so triggering. I'd left in worse shape than before visiting. Too forgetful on my part. I'm recovering.

I'm sorry you are going through such a tough time. I hope you can find peace in your life soon.

My pdoc appt went ok, he took me off my Geodon saying he felt it wasn't helping. He may be right but I always get scared when he takes me off a medicine. Hopefully my mood doesn't crash again. I have only felt better for a few days now but still fighting some depression, just not the kind that drags you into the bowels of hell.

You've taken some steps to stay safe. I am selfishly happy about this, 'cause I like you around!
It's great the text crisis line works well for you.
Keep taking good care of yourself, please.
I hope the pdoc can help tomorrow.

I can understand feeling uneasy when withdrawing a med.

Just take it moment by moment. I'm glad you called the crisis line and made a safety plan.

My mood is still low, but not as horrible as it was. Certain times during the day are very hard to put up with emotionally and physically. Other times are "manageable" (during the highest point of the day). It was exhausting at work today, and it's difficult keeping up physically. I can't wait until the week is over already in all honesty. It's been my first full day back due to health reasons. It had been over a week and a half since a regular work schedule. I still want to try to keep positive, but I do not quite feel ready keeping up with this schedule.

This morning my pdoc disrupted the traditional division of labor in the contemporary treatment of mental illness in America and got all therapeutic, which surprised the hell out of me. I really like him, but his personality is slightly different each time I see him. Today's take-homes: my blood is fine, I shouldn't compare myself to others, I must respect the disease and I get to take more drugs.

i'm waiting for a callback from bipolar UK

some of you may remember that a while ago I had a 1 off emergency mentoring session, which turned out to really help me

so I rang back and i asked to be put on the full waiting list- had to fill in a form as well, but I did all that, and now have to wait for a session

while i'm feeling pretty good right now, I do still need it.

I don't know if I mentioned, but yesterday I felt suicidal (only for a bit)

thankfully, it wasn't anything too serious and the thoughts just went away.

but it was scary how they just started

Don't really want to be at work but what's new. I'm here though, might as well deal with it. Still have a cough today but not as bad. Pulmonary Dr. Said after cat scan that something is going on with my lungs he's just not sure what. First fit the empazima pattern though. I have to schedule a biopsy waiting for their office to call me back.

It's difficult to await these tests sometimes, especially not knowing what to expect.

I hope you are okay.
